Another option I forgot to mention is getting another degree such as a Masters degree. There are quite a number of courses available to do as a medic still in the medical field such as Public Health, Health Admin, Immunology etc. both in Ghana and outside the country!

Is it easy to get a job in the US with your Ghana license?

You will need to take the US licensing exams first

@@GloriaQuansahoh okay…. So let’s say you write it after your housemanship and you pass you’ll literally be employed by the US government and collecting your salary in dollars or there is more to it?

@@Osboat you will have to apply for a job(residency) and if you match into a residency program, yes you will move to the US all things being equal and you will be paid in dollars like everyone there
