I had Tia also known as a mini stroke few months ago, weeks b4 kept falling asleep. The stoke itself was not painful but hour later I had severe headache, my right side of my face dropped lost my speech, here to tell you still. After the scan I was told I had a blood clot but it frizzled in my brain. Hope this helps

I got out of bed one night to get myself a drink of water from my bathroom sink... The second I went to reach for the faucet, I was immediately hit with a severe headache (Not even a warning!) Immediately nauseous and started throwing up. At the same time I felt this rush of intense pain the radiated throughout my ENTIRE body! The pain felt like it was coming from every bone in my body and shooting through my veins!! Then my fingers and left hand got tingly and numb. I laid myself down on my stomach on the bathroom floor, and my words weren't coming out right. I could kind of talk, but the words seemed like they came out in jerks or studders... I laid there for 25-30 minutes. What happened to me?? I feel as though I have been slowly deteriorating since then, when it comes to eye sight, pauses between words, memory loss, increase in anxiety and agoraphobia. I'm very jumpy and frightened easily... I was stupid and scared, and never got myself checked out. I know that is a huge NO NO! But I'm just here looking for a little bit of help. This happened maybe a yr ago.

Did your initial symptoms of numbness and difficulty speaking fade away after 24 hours? You could have had a transient ischemic stroke, which is usually a warning sign that you will get a stroke in the future. You should go to the doctor and get checked out! Always trust your gut when you are not feeling well. !

@@kitty-mp6cx It's hard to have a recollection of the time frame that everything started and stopped. I just know that when it started every single thing was absolutely immediate, So immediate!!! Every single sensation happened within seconds of each other. The first being a gnarly headache, nausea throwing up, full body pain like it was radiating from my bones, then I started to get really tingly and my arm wasn't working right and my fingertips went numb then my entire hand went numb. And I could talk but like I said it was like talking in jerks, and I don't think I was making sense. My ENTIRE body ached!! It's something that I have not felt before. And I think it started to go away maybe an hour or less... But I remember my entire body feeling exhausted after. It's a really hard thing to try to explain.

@@lilly_janelle Yeah It's terrifying. Should go to the doctor, especially since woman often experience different symptoms, and should still be treated nonetheless. I hope everything turns out alright for you. Be safe and take care of yourself!
