Reminds me of a friend who moved to Korea years ago and didn’t realize most countries don’t have garbage disposals, when she clogged up the drain with food I guess her landlord had to talk to her. On a good note he was very nice about it and even though she offered to pay for the plumber in full he only accepted a small portion because he said he needed all the drains cleaned anyway. The landlord did suggest she bring a small gift to the 3 other tenants for the inconvenience of not being able to use the water.

The thing I like the most is how the owners don't point fingers while you're there. Over here (Europe)if food like this came out the owner would've left you to your own business and gone to have a screaming match with whomever they suspected of dumping food into pipes, then dragged you into the screaming match to back him up.
