Because at the beginning of the fight he was actually holding back. He was too overconfident and cocky and wanted to play with Chris before killing him. But because of that he ended up lowering his guard and that ended up getting weakened, after getting weakened twice it was to late for him to get serious for a comeback even after fusing with uroboros (since he was poisoned that slowed down his bonding with uroboros)not to mention his incomplete uroboros form gave him those 2 weak spots. So at that point his defeat went from impossible to possible. So the lesson is: If you fight to show up and get to careless you may end up regretting it. Just saying

Sheva Alomar is a character that needs to return. When I played this game I played with my twin sister. She loved Chris so I was Sheva. At the end of the game when we fought Wesker, we ran out of ammo so it was a giant knife fight, and let me tell you the scene where they slash him to death is so rewarding. But Sheva's character in general was rewarding. She wasn't Claire or Jill. She worked for BSAA but to go toe to toe with THE big baddie in all of Resident Evil was phenomenal. All for Chris to get all the credit in the next game with no mention of her.

Sheva was so cool but I doubt we'll see her in a very long time, maybe never. The reason is she works in Africa, so unless the new game is set in Africa or they have excuse to bring her to US\EU, I don't see her coming back. It's kinda like how they didn't use Claire for a very long time because she's considered civilian and all RE games are pretty much military operation (RE4-6). I mean the only official Claire appearances are RE2, Code V and REV2. All others are just either guest cameos, spinoffs or remakes (including Darkside Chronicle). I would also love Helena to be back at some point, she's kinda underrated, they gave her descent background story that could be built upon.

@@brute6896 In order to even be close to light enough to move, it would have to be pumice or scoria, which still weighs 40-100 pounds per cubic foot, and that rock he punches is HUGE. But it doesn't have the appearance of either of those, and when it rolls it makes a sound as if it is incredibly dense and heavy. So basically Chris turned into the Incredible Hulk for a few seconds.

RE5 is honestly just as good as RE4 when it comes to gameplay and story. RE4 just had better atmosphere, though the early game of RE5 had me freaked out as a kid. All those villagers with the creepy eyes and how quickly they just turned on you. How suddenly it went from being in a village surrounded by peaceful inhabitants to being in a village surrounded by murderous infected with only some thin fences between you. It was disturbing. Superbly done. I never understood the hate this game got. It literally did nothing wrong. I think 99% of ''criticism'' were all the bullshit claims about racism. And the funny thing is, the entire cast, black people included, all found those claims hilarious and said it had nothing to do with race, noting how RE has taken place in America and Spain before without issue.

@@UncannyAura RE 6 is pretty much a game for newbies or guys who've heard of the game via videos or the internet. But playing RE 6 felt much of a copy game rather than a RE game to be played. Like looking back at RE 4 and RE 5, although they are action-oriented horror games, the reason it still managed to succeed because of being able to stay scary enough for players to learn the fight or flight route most of the time. Like introducing enemies with strong features or limiting ammunition would make players be scared of fighting them without a proper plan, requiring judgment. RE 6 is more of wasting your ammo away and killing zombies till the end of time, so you have little time to think what to do and more of just going into the action because of not needing to care about ammunition, which is a huge flaw in this installment.

I always say that re5 should have been the finale of the saga. The other game could have been spinoffs or prequels, but re5 should have been left as the final part of the story. To me Re6 was a damn joke, and Carla and Simmons were not threatening, they were annoying and were trying to Copycat Wesker in jealously but without success at the end. Only the ustanak felt kinda like a treat but he was a copycat of Nemesis. But well that is what Simmons and Carla were doing, trying to copy what was good. But without not even a close success. Re7 and 8 were just scary situations and missions, must say they were kinda good. But any game a real ominous treat like Wesker's uroboros It's a shame the only reason a god like Wesker lost at the end was because he got to careless in overconfidence in his practically assured victory

I love how Wesker pulls out his Samurai Edge on Chris. It brings you back to where it all began, where he put into motion the demise of STARS, and killed Enrico personally with that same handgun. Wesker wants to savor his kill here, which is why I think he saves it for the spare chance that if he's weakened and needs to resort to other methods, he can get the same satisfaction out of pulling out the pistol that in part represented himself as the victor of the mansion incident (up until he was impaled by his Tyrant), and his betrayal as being STARS very own captain, while treating his own like guinea pigs during the mansion incident. Chris faces the barrel of the same gun that he faced all those years back in that Arklay Laboratory.

With all honesty all of the bad situations in resident evil any of them frightened me. But Wesker's threat of infecting the world with uroboros and what would happen if he succeeded felt so God damn onminous and frightening to me, the worst threat possible in any game of the saga and that actually gave me chills. At the beginning of the final chapter (6-3) when Chris and Sheva are in the pilot chamber and they discuss about how Wesker was gonna spread uroboros in the world with the darkness, the alarm sounding and ni music alone really captured the fear and tension in the current moment. Not even re6 make me feel like this in fact, Carla and Simmons little plans did not bother me that much. To me they were little threatening but so annoying. The only one i did consider a treat was the ustanak. But that guy is just a copycat of Nemesis. So not too impressed. In other words, re5 was a real scary treat and the most important showdown yet, and no wonder Wesker is the main and coolest villian of the saga. Is a shame he lost only because he got too careless at the end. But my opinion, re5 should have been the finally. The other games could have been spinoffs o prequels, but re5 should have been left the final part of the story.
