Something that I've always wondered is why spirits would have hands, ears, etc. What's the point? Those all serve a specific purpose within the human body, but why would a spirit need those features?

Are we not patterned after the manner of spirits? As Wilford Woodruff observed, spirits are as solid to one another as we are to each other.

Are these the words of Heber Kimball? Seems like he takes a lot of liberties to say things as fact that have not been taught by others. What if he is wrong?

Heber C. Kimball was called by Joseph Smith to be an Apostle of the Lord, and he remained faithful to his calling, even as ten others called to the same office fell away from the faith for at least some period of time. As the scriptures say, "By their fruits ye shall know them" (Matthew 7:20). Haven't we been told that those who read their scriptures will not be deceived? In my opinion, this verse of scripture is very helpful in understanding whom to trust and whom not to.

@@TheWordsofChristThank you for this! As a member of the Church. Satan literally from the beginning has always wanted and will try with all his might to stop the work of the Lord! Look at when Joseph Smith entered into the Grove to pray. Satan knew and had always known. Therefore, he tried to destroy Joseph. Likewise with all the other prophets and apostles. But also even with us. He tries with all his power and being to destroy us. But I know as we call upon the Lord for strength, we can always overcome Satan. Thank you for this. I love this channel
