you forgot the part where after undyne calls you you head back to the core in 1.0, there you are locked in the pacifist route but in the version you can still encounter monsters and kill them, you can also kill snowy amalgamate with eating all legendary hero's level 10 from killing monsters at core and a perfect hit with the empty gun

@@SticKinGamma I'm unsure how much levels killing everyone in the Core gives, but it does give levels that you need to kill snowy amalgamate (you do more damage with more levels), you do this on an old version (1.0) because it doesn't disable monsters in core after Undyne calls you. There you can kill the monsters because you aren't intended to be able to encounter them. The game doesn't check at this point if you have any levels so you still get the pacifist ending (souless pacifist if done genocide run before)
