It should affect stuff from a greater distance like he said, qnd being inside it should do a lot of damage, the winds are acting strongly in very different ways in different parts of the aircraft after all, the aircraft is basically warping and tearing apart. I think the pulling effect itself when near the tornado was okay though, it doesnt have to literally yeet the plane. The planes should probably be a lot more vulnerable to impacts too, though the arnament-based damage seemed ok?

I gotta say flying looks awful right now. There is no sense of engagement. The defenses deploy to quick, no hit markers, the physics looks meh and there is no real sense of speed when flying. Even with the after burners on at low altitude it still doesn’t feel like you are moving fast. I think it could be great with tweaks but now it’s very generic and unsatisfying. The whole game has a really unpolished feel right now. Whatever updates they made over the last 2 months better be good because this game is rather sterile at the moment with no real atmosphere.

Tornadoes form when warm, humid air collides with cold, dry air. The denser cold air is pushed over the warm air, usually producing thunderstorms. The warm air rises through the colder air, causing an updraft. The updraft will begin to rotate if winds vary sharply in speed or direction.

@@TheyWantMeGone69 Imagine i spinning horizontal turbine created by wind shear in the atmosphere. Happends all the time in unstable environments. Now, a massive thunderstorm forms. Thunderstorms have intense updrafts that blows vertically, with rising air (warm updraft), and sinking air (cold downdraft). If this storms vertically profiled wind "connects" with the horizontal "turbine", it pushed it, tilting it. Now you have a vertical spinning turbine of air, "sucking" in even more air from the ground. Mixed with very complex fluid and thermodynamics, and with perfect atmospheric conditions, the storm starts to rotate (supercellular mesocyclone). Rarely, if the column of air is tight enough, you get a funnel cloud. If the airmasses reach the ground, you have a tornado. Shortly speaking.

It’s a bit more realistic then usual for a game. Typically you loose a ton of speed when you begin to move upwards in a plane so you only want a slight incline, except the nose wouldn’t deep, instead the plane would just slowly loose height. Battlefields planes have always been a bit slowly, the acceleration is actually more then in reality though, unless your putting your engines to 70 or something, but an actual pilot would keep them at around 15-40 to conserve as much fuel as possible. The afterburners are a bit slow though. They could make it more realistic by having the planes speed more modifiable, having a significantly larger area to play in, make the turns much slower and add passing out.

Not sure if it works on this bf, but it worked on 3 and 4 When you auto lock somone, don't deploy the missiles in the first time, they will probably already use theur flares Then you lock again and fire

Who the Hell at EA and Dice thought it was a good Idea to release this to the public. They just destroyed the battlefield franchise. So many things wrong with this. Not having a dedicated q button to request anything like all old battlefield game is ridiculous. To me this is a walking running simulator. If you don't get in any vehicle. You have to run to each objective. The map is so dam big that by the time you get half way to one of the zones to take over. Your to late then you turn to the next and same thing happens. So on and so on. Having all the Ai in the game are stupid. They die so fast. Just like Titanfall. I loved that game but having Ai in it just ruined it for me. The vehicles are just horrible to drive and fly. All arcade like. I think all battle royal games have ruined every fps that will come out now as they are all going to arcade gameplay. These new games are catered to the young kids that just spends mom and dads money on skins. Ugh just make a Battlefield 4 remaster already and call it a day. I am 52 years old and guess my time in gaming has come to an end.

I have been in many Battlefield Alpha test and this beta is not even as good as most of the alphas I have been in. I think the tornadoes need to have a more realistic take in terms of storm physics. You shouldn’t fly into a tornado and get slightly pushed to the right. There’s a lot of downforce towards the center for example. When inside a tornado, an unfortunate victim would experience being uncontrollably spun around and thrown towards the ground and picked up again and spun around. Tornadoes should be a very nauseating experience rather than a fun circus ride. I hope tornadoes get an update.

Tip, when you lock onto an flying vehicle, they tend to use there countermeasures as soon as you lock on, you don't have to fire to trick them into using it most of the time. I just lock on and wait for them to use flares cause they don't know when you launch, just when your locked on to them.

Even tho its a beta it needs alot of work, i thought from the success of mw2019 they would have extremely sharpened thier skills. As a bf3 and bf4 Jet veteran, the Jet felt sluggish and generally underwhelming. The main Gun is pretty much...MEH. projectile speed is very slow with big spread it makes it hard to hit anything other than ospreys I hope it gets a buff or replacement in loadouts. The choppers feel extemly OP tho. No disable status so they regen even from 1hp even after a heat seeker. so they feel tanky. 1 AA cant suppress you on this big ass map. i dont know if it was really my flying but i felt like i can outmanouver heatseekers without flaresm consitently. and 64 enemys to shoot at feels like absolute domination.

Just admit it nicca jets are garbage in this game atleast right now. Slow, flares don't work to avoid missiles, they shoot paintball bullets, air to air combat is boring, zero to none air to ground capabilities. I don't know if theyre going to patch it before the game officially launches, I hope they do because right now Battlefield V air combat is more fun than this and that's a lot.

A little advice, get a target lock and swap to mini gun, they will panic and pop ecm. This mimics an anti air missile launch and they can't tell the difference. Strafe with gun, then spam your a2a missiles.
