One theory I have about the reason William Afton keeps coming back is this: Spring bonnie was made at a time when things were made to last, not like today where things break constantly. His body gets damaged slightly but never properly destroyed. Also, I believe that the fire wasn't hot enough to melt metal. Sure, it damaged the plastic/fabric/whatever animatronic casing, but the metal endoskeleton was a completely different story. Also, if the fire ending isn't canon, then it would have to mean that the 'Ruin' DLC is set years after the main game, because it would take a long time for the metal statue of Freddy to get to that state, as well as the rest of the building.

Yeah, exept that this is an entirely new suit mixed with Afton's old corpse, it's hinted throughout the game that Vanessa got Monty to destroy Bonnie and has been using those parts to make the new Springtrap suit, hence why it's barely put together while being in the design of the new animatronics, and with the old and burned corpse, hence the name "burntrap." And it isn't Afton himself, but his subconscious (which was glitchtrap from help wanted) uploaded into the corpse and the suit,possessing it so it technically isn't exactly him, but also him at the same time if that makes sense

I’m not entirely sure about that because (this is what I think) Glamrock Freddy is meant to kinda “impersonate” Micheal Afton and same for Gregory with the Crying Child. I don’t know who could be in the vent, but I don’t really think it could be one of the two Afton sons. Although it could be Burntrap since Glamrock Bonnie has taken Afton place. But I’m not entirely sure.

So what if, the elevator was meant as a way to get back up, and there is a different way down to the pizza place in the basement of the pizza plex? That would make sense, Vanny would have her own way down there so maybe you could find it and use it for a different ending?

I still think the blob is like molten Freddy but he didn't really die and he just kind of got every single person a piece of every soul put together. I think the burn ending is the cannon ending because the fire wouldn't burn the pizzaplex but it would burn the supports for the building causing the place to go into ruins, hence why in the teaser we see damage but none that would be caused be fire, the damage we see would be caused be sturctural issues.
