I was thinking about riju’s age difference between botw and totk to figure out how much time has passed. I wonder if we’ll ever get an old man Link in a Zelda game.

I think it's only been 5 years. We kind of had an old man Link in A Link Between Worlds. The old man that lets you fight Dark Links is that man and you can fight him.

I always dressed up as a Yiga when confronting Master Kogha lmao, it was always so hilarious to see his remarks on it, especially since he's the only Yiga who comments on your disguise not working on him. Like, he's not the only Yiga who sees through your disguise, there are at least two Yiga traps where it doesn't matter you're in full Yiga-gear, they'll attack you anyway - the Colosseum in the Depths under Korok Forest, and the Zelda in a Cage trap on Dueling Peaks (that one gave me the arguably best ingame photo I've taken, I put up it in Link's house). There might be other traps where the disguise won't work but I missed those in that case. I also found it funny to dye the outfit yellow, though I was a little sad it didn't change any dialogue. Though the one who complains about Link's hair colour became a little funnier bc he won't remark on you being banana-coloured lol

theres also another stable quest where if your wearing a disguise it doesmt matter, they will attack anyways. think it was the one where you have to chase the lady

Riju died my first time with this mission because I didn't realize the Gerudo would be incompetent at defending their queen from the moths and I had time to saunter over and help.

since i didnt see anyone else comment it, theres actually a layer of water under the entire map, just gerudo desert. whenever water shows up in the map, the devs just brought up the water instead of spawning in water for that spot. they do the same technique for both botw and totk so it must be more optimized than individually placing water around the map

There's a few sick combat tricks you can pull with Rocket Shield Surfs. If you do a spin while doing a rocket shield, it has some really weird properties.

I know of an error message no one is talking about yet. If you just use Autobuild without ever making something with Ultrahand afterwards. You will get an error message saying "there are no registered designs. I recently decided to replay TOTK, and when I got Autobuild, I used it, and there it was, "it said "there are no registered designs". Let me remind you, the only way you could ever see this death message is if you never use Ultrahand again after obtaining Autobuild. Once you do, there will be a registered design, and you won't need that error message anymore!

I don't think the Game Over here represents Link dying. With Riju down, the game is just incompletable, so we needed a way to make sure that the players didn't delete save data before the battle. And since they failed to complete an important one attempt objective, the "Game Over" screen works well.

Was honestly pretty disappointing how lame the Shield Fusions are in this game. The vast majority do absolutely nothing. You'd think having a big ass Stone Slab attached to your shield would not only make it protect far better but make it far more durable as well.... but nope. It does neither. Lame.
