I think it might depend on how much fuel is actually in the tank prior to the tequila.... A good test would be driving it until it's empty... Putting a gallon of fuel in and seeing how many miles it does until it cuts out... Then try again with liquor and see if there is a difference... At least you then know it's actually running on liquor and not the mixture of leftover fuel and liquor.... Great video as always!!

My guess is when the engine is hot enough, most of the water content gets boiled off before it even hit the spark. Then you're mostly left with ethanol which mixes with the gas and can be adjusted for

That's the only good use for Tequila! I'm waiting for the follow-up video where the Ranger fought a cop, slept with a broken down Chevy C-10, then has to go to work in the AM.

You mentioned twice that the tequila is 100 proof, but 40% only makes it 80 proof, which is even more impressive to me. Only could've been better with some salt and lime on the fuel filler and some mariachi music playing on the radio. 😂🎺🎶

Always make sure to only use "Silver" Tequila and NOT the "Gold" variety of Tequila. Gold Tequila has a caramel like ingredient added, which gives the Tequila it's gold/amber color and is sure to clog/gum up your fuel pump & injectors. 🍹You're Welcome.

This is awesome. I love these videos Mike, keep doing what you're doing. I would suggest window cleaner since I heard that some of them contain methanol. Or maybe Listerene which is supposedly the most alcoholic laden mouthwash there is, despite them saying it isn't.

I guess this works since alcohol is a hydrocarbon and since combustion works based on hydrocarbons (or other types of fuel but usually hydrocarbons) and oxygen molecules reacting to release energy. So in simpler terms instead of the hydrocarbon being gasoline it was replaced with less efficient (in terms of energy stored) alcohol
