Its not about connecting. Its about sending spiritual energy which may help a struggling soul to navigate the afterlife. It generally helps people who are too materialistic and have a lot of psychological conditioning which they are not able to shed even after death and cannot sometimes proceed in a favourable direction. Believe what you may, but this is the underlying theory.

Not being familiar with the Indian traditions, it does make sense that in death as in life, it may be different for every person as to what happens when they return to the energy of the Creator. I was just pondering this last night. Will I see my family again after they have been gone for so long? I imagine it to be like an "electric magnetic" attraction that would draw us together. All will be whole and youthful and glowing, if we were to only meet again for a blip in time.

Sadhguru... We got married almost before 5 years and living happily ourself. My husband is the big follower of you, since you said in many videos it is not good to simply reproduce and increase population, my husband felt that's is true and decided not to have children in our life. In the beginning I felt it difficult but later on when he kept explaining the reasons and your videos, even i felt its might be correct and need to respect my husband's wish and agreed to my husband. But his parents are not to ready to agree with this and keep torturing and targeting me every now and then. They says me if you cannot reproduce for our family future whats the use of you.
