If you get a free game but BUY something within, like a skin or weapon, can you still play the game? If you get a free game, the PS Plus expires, and you buy/get the game on disc. Do you get to keep all the progress and trophies and initiate the game with the disc? Or do you have to take double the HDD space to install from the disc and have to start over from scratch in regards to progress and trophies? If you buy a game with money but at the PS Plus discount price, do you get to play that game when your Ps Plus expires?

question. i had ps essential, upgraded to premium for $45, decided it wasn’t worth it at all. so i switched my plan back to essential. ps premium is $120 a year and essential is $60 a year, will i be charged with the $120 and the $60 when my plan renews or just the $60 because i switched back to essential? thanks

If the Premium is still active from upgrading for the remainder of the year. It may try to charge the $120 given the Premium was the active membership. Just cancel let it expire then pay $60 for a year of essential

Tbh I think it's a great idea cuz for example you wanna play a game like Spiderman. If you buy the game normally after you complete the game and get all the trophies you would probably not play it again forever. But if you have ps plus you would play all the games you want, finish them, then they would go away. Spiderman is like 30 dollars and the 3 month subscription is 33 dollars and you get 100s of games so it's better value

You can actually play PS Plus games even after your subscription is expired. All you need to do is, your PS4 must stay offline before your subscription expires and then you can play downloaded games even after your is expired but once you connect your internet to PS4, it would be lock
