I made a couple in the sims and their relationship was strained. The woman would roll her eyes at the man and it was a challenge to get their relationship up lol. They kept having little blowouts that caused significant damage to their relationship and this was all autonomous. One time in the sitting room, the man was attempting to strike up a conversation with his wife, but he was standing too close to the fire and he caught on fire 🔥, causing the woman to extinguish him; but that was the last straw for her and the relationship completely dipped haha.

One thing I really wish is that the sims 4 would update its compatibility. You can get two sims who are extremely different (like these two) and all you have to do is play flirt and then they will build romance quickly. It’s would be cool if they made it take awhile to even develop friendship or if they created a tolerance bar that eventually when it gets to the top they learn to accept each others differences and can get along. I think it would be cool but I know the EA doesn’t care about us that much to even do that

I did a similar storyline to this in my game and there was a glitch in The Sims 4 that let me have two spouses that don't know about each other and now my SIM has two kids around the same age that also don't know about each other that was probably the most convenient glitch ever The Sims 4 is great sometimes😅

My husband of over 12 years is a Sagittarius and im a gemini, he likes loud music, working on cars and wood work, and electronics, and hanging out with friends. Get the extremely friendly and observant trait through the reward store Create a club where woohoo and romantic social is the “activity” Add only ONE sim at a time and “start club meeting”. Ur target sim shows up, u can woo hoo before even a first kiss and right after saying hello because of the traits that fill the friend bar 😂 I use this if I’m playing a family and will needs more kids their age as the kids grow up. I name the club “populate the town” and use a male sim to get the job done quickly. If u really want to laugh u can add max club members and do the villainous valentine by inviting spouses over. It goes well unless all the ladies see the woohoo After their turn. 😂. Works for that aspiration though and if the spouse is there it’s not hard to break them up. U can even hold a club meeting at their house to speed it along
