The fact that he is doing work during the day means he/she is despatate. Beavers do most of thier work at night for safety reasons. That is tough beaver, bravo little buddy.

@@newworld9133 I was impressed. He did more with his paws and teeth in the one week than I did on my house with an excavator and power tools. 😂

Plant poplar trees around your dam. They grow like weeds, and the beavers love them for food..

What if you cut small trees or limbs from larger trees and left them nearby -- Would the beavers use them? When I leave cut string out in my garden, birds take them for building nests.

You got some good footage there. Have you watched the video I posted of exploring an abandoned beaver house with my kids?

@@lovesloudcars yeah we’ve watched it a couple times. We missed the best shot of all though. The first day we went out he was sitting up on the bank shoving sticks in and I didn’t have my phone.

Poor beaver. It's going to be a lot of work to rebuild that dam. Maybe you could leave behind some sweet potatoes for energy replacement.

@@AndyFromBeaverton that’s a thought. I don’t know if they easy them like muskrats do though. Might have to set up a trail camera.

@@Hatchmade If a storm wipes out the damn again, set up a time-lapse camera. Holley Muraco on KZbin rehabs beavers. You might want to see what her beavers like to eat.
