@@9g.m4nga65only advantage the C7 Z06 has is acceleration above like 130-140mph… and how often does that advantage come into play on the track? A C8 Z06 with Z07 package will routinely smoke a C7 Z06 on track, especially tracks that are more technical. And let’s not talk about the C8’s heat management issues that pull timing and put it into limp mode when pushed hard on track, C8 Z06 with way better cooling and the NA LT6 can run all day without issue. The level of grip and corner exit speeds are at a different level from the C7 version. On those types of tracks the C8 Z06 puts up times similar to a C7 ZR1. And before you call BS on the ZR1 comparison, that came straight from the lead Corvette engineer Tadge Juechter.

Is it safe to do so or is it terrible on the car if done so much like that. Does anyone know ? My thoughts are from riding a motorcycle to drop gears so much and fast like that would almost feel like tire would lock up.
