Inflation in india is 6-7% as per goverment But Food inflation: 10-11% Education inflation: 11-12% Health care inflation 11-12% How can govt calculate their inflation and say we have only 6-7% inflation when 3 of the most important sectors have inflation more than 10% . I have been following LLA for a long time and i cant thank you guys enough for all the knowledge you have imparted which sadly before your attempt to raise awareness on money related matters, i didn't even know existed as i was not aware about a lot of them. And i am very thankful for this "MAN VS MONEY" initiative and i hope we keep getting such beautifully made content from LLA always. Its just i saw a netflix documentary titled "Buy Now - The shopping conspiracy" and found out the evil ways businesses are exploiting our planet in the name of fashion and using FOMO. I would recommend others to watch too. So as much i would like inflation to stay at a healthy level, one key thing needs to be ensured is the growth should happen via right way and the overall output should encompass the overall growth and health of this whole planet which people need to ponder upon and not just in monetary terms.

Good video with one glaring flaw in the 'Need for inflation' argument. Log apni jaroorat/chaah ki cheezein khareedne ke liye paise kharch karte hai, Mandeep sir; na ki inflation ke dar se. Case in point: Telecom, and electronics industries. Massive deflation over the last 20-25 years in cost of telecom plans and electronics. Nateeja? Log aaj mobile data aur calls, aur electronics jyada khareedte hai. Isi lambe samay me ye dono industries bhi bahut badi hui hai, na ki choti.

People say inflation is important of a country's future growth etc. but as we know Switzerland has 0.4 to 0.5 persent inflation rate per year but still their country and currency is strong...how..? Their are many countries who are running with a very low (nearly zero persent inflation) inflation rate...
@LabourLawAdvisor19 күн бұрын
Developing countries have significantly more opportunities to grow therefore they'll have higher Inflation than developed countries who have already grown and there are fewer growth opportunities. A developing nation will want to keep increasing demand so that new businesses can be born and overall production is also increased that'll ultimately increase jobs. But a developed nation has already reached peak demand, peak production and there is very little scope to grow further. Their businesses struggle coming up with new ideas to startup, solve new problems whereas in a developing country like India there are plenty of ideas to work on and plenty of problems to solve, plenty of jobs needed, so naturally we'll have higher Inflation than US or other developed countries. Just to clarify: i am not in support of our current taxation and Inflation status. Something i also mentioned in the conclusion of this video. Our Inflation looks like it's within the range but it is definitely more than that when it comes to food, clothing, fuel and other basic stuff

Why does the government take loan from the central bank? It also pays interest in return, due to which 25-40 percent of our tax goes in the form of interest and new loan, due to which the government is not able to spend more on education, health and science etc., due to which new employment opportunities are not created, due to the decrease in the amount of money in the country, the demand for goods among the people decreases, which leads to recession in the economy.

So, in short, abhi inflation ko 0 karna possible nahi hai, but what if debasement of any currency throughout the history kabhi hua hi na hota toh??? toh aaj ki date mein inflation exist hi nahi karti, hain na??
@LabourLawAdvisor18 күн бұрын
Wrong. Inflation as a result of debasement means that people lose trust in the currency and start trading with alternate currencies such as gold. Whereas when a currency supply remains constant (no debasement, no note printing), it creates a scarcity and currency would appreciate. Gold and Bitcoin's supply is limited that's why their value goes up

Sir, ye episode bhi baki man vs money episode ki tarha kafi aacha tha but i have a question, please answer to it Sir aapne bataya ki controled inflation is good for the economy because ye hame aapne production ko increase karne ka motivation deta hai (that is how i understood it) and if goods ke price and salary fixed ho jayege to market me money ka flow slow ho jayega (that is how i understood it) and producers ko loss bhi uthana padega, but my question is technological advances se aagar production ke cost hi kam ho jayega then how fixing the price and salary will affect the economy, for example rome me aagar 64AD me debasement karne ke jaga aapne goods ke prices ko fix kar dete jab logo ka unke currency per trust bhi tha aur goods ke price inflated bhi nahi the, so after that kingdom ko bass extra coins produce karne padte, aur kyu ki goods ke price fixed hote to govt ye completly estimate kar pati ki usse kitne jada peso ki jarurat hai.. Please answer this question sir..🙏🙏

can you make a video on socialism & communism and how inflation would work in it?
@ravi055518 күн бұрын
Socialism and communism is terms of thought or types of ideological approaches . But if you strictly assume these conditions then the economic growth won’t increase that means no inflation =no growth , socialism is terms of thought where state controls resources and distribute it equally , communism is some what full y leftist ideology the state is under one party which rules country . We are socialist and democratic , Russia is in name socialist and china is communist as the resources are under states control. For country’s growth capitalistic ideology is important where state involvement is less or negligible . In india 1991 liberalisation and privatisation done by p/m Narasimha Rao nd Manmohan Singh which made open market and the growth starred for India from slowly here as for china in 70 or 80 s den xiaoping made the china as communist with free capitalistic market that’s why china is ahead of india.

Nice video! But I had a doubt. At 9:56, you mentioned that if inflation is 0 then there is no incentive to spend money. But shouldn't it be the opposite? People save money to earn interest and have more money in future since they know that in future the value of money will be less. But if there is no inflation then there is no incentive to save more. For eg: say I work for 20 years and save half of my income then with 0 inflation after retirement I can live 20 more years with same amount of money. But with inflation the same amount of money will not be enough after 20 years so I need to save more and spend less when I am working. This is assuming I get zero interest on saving. But even If I get interest the same pattern will remain.
@ravi055518 күн бұрын
Bro why u guys always so narrow minded only think that people only save do you really think manufacturers save money and stop manufacturing for certain period or do you really think farmer save money for 6 months till inflation decrease and he will use money afterwards if u r business Man U know about these inflation and recession cycles. See if inflation decreases to zero bank stops to give loans and manufacturers will reduce the quantity produced which in turn reduce demand and prices increases . So when u are thinking just think that there so occupations and diverse people who’s living on basis of these cycles , the govt and rbi will regulate these to keep in target. If you really interested we calculate inflation through consumer price index and the better approach is ppi producer price index which we will adapt in future .
@dd-explores18 күн бұрын
@@ravi0555 Thanks for your reply, which helped me understand it better. I am not trying to advocate zero inflation with my comment. I just wanted to clarify the statement made in the video that "zero inflation means no incentive to spend". My comment is more from the consumer POV since I believe demand drives the market. You can only sell something when there is demand for it. Also, the hypothetical scenarios I have discussed are steady state i.e. the inflation value is 0 or some positive value for a long time. In your reply, you mention cycles, where inflation will go from one value to another, which will surely cause some fluctuations in demand. Zero inflation will surely stagnate the economy whereas small positive inflation will certainly induce growth.
