Thanks for the match brother, looking forward to running it again 👊

Y'all should rematch. But to find out who is better overall - I propose the following format. Let's call it "tapathon" or something. 2 minute rounds. Each round starts in a different position and ends only at time or submission. The positions are mount, side, back, single-x, or whatever set you choose. The only way to win a round is by submission (points don't exist). You can do whatever during the round, it's just that you start in a good position is what makes it a tapathon. Then the winner is who won the most rounds. Kind of like penalty kicks in soccer. If it's a tie in the end - it's standing and whoever gets the first takedown wins. Whatcha think?

Dude, I want to thank you for playing the hip bump sweep to triangle in slow motion....something I really want to add to my game...yours is a thing of beauty. Thank you for sharing this.

This was really cool. I've been following for a minute now and I love the instructionals and all, but I appreciated most the emotional bit when things didn't go your way as well as the accountability at the end. You're killing it!

i love how the two blue belts were the most dangerous in the bracket

Fun match to watch better show then 95% of people in there first absolute also the first guy not tapping to that one arm bar he really didn’t wanna tap to a blue belt lol

Good stuff Carson! Recently competed in my first comp as a white belt. I did pretty fair. Your content and drive definitely were a motivation through training camp. Keep it up homie! 🤝

moral of the story : never go to outside ash with a scoop grip, that's 100% a back take

Bro, don’t hang your head low.. you’re such a beast. Beating black belts at comps as a blue belt is no joke. Absolutely love your jiujitsu game. Keep it up - can’t wait for the next one 👊

Awesome work man, that triangle you hit was awesome. Gonna start using that body lock variation! Just that little mistake at the end while going for the knee bar. Any time you have a scoop grip in outside ashi, you lack control of the second leg and wedging back takes are a big threat. You got it next time. 🤙

First one was the only black belt 😅 the second was blue I believe and 3rd was a purple. We were in the advanced division so open belt levels
