I did my time. I have been asked many times by young people if they should join. I tell them to watch 15 minutes of the MSM. If they still think this country deserves a strong military they need their head examined. Today’s recruits are being trained to lose. But they are not born to lose. But when the military fails them and they lose, it costs them their life. This country is circling the drain.

Wars for corporations, wars at the front door when our southern border back door is wide open. Troopers in the field with no end game and the end is surrender, leave equipment behind, allies behind, Americans behind allegedly. I won't even mention how much better the illegal immigrants are treated than our Veterans, especially homeless Veterans.

Good points but it is still America. It deserves to be protected and our military has always been there. 'Wokeism" sucks and should be abolished but that depends on citizens to take the action to do so. I served and am damned proud to have done so. This is still the best nation on earth. It deserves to be defended against our enemies(foreign and domestic) to preserve our way of life and freedoms.

The overwrought political hatred from the MSM and politicians is what caused a 20 year old to take matters into his own hands and kill who he was taught was Adolf Hitler reborn. That boy, in my mind, honestly thought he was a patriot and died happy thinking he had killed President Trump. That is where revolutions comes from and it is a scary time in America. I admit I have never been less proud to be an American. 40 years ago I was a gung ho flag waver and new USAF radar tech. Along came Bill Clinton. I got out after my second 6 year hitch. I gave up my retirement. Just as well. My unit went to Bosnia soon after for reasons unknown to me. Clinton, Obama, Biden. Soon Harris when Biden steps down. All dead set on overthrowing America.

If you were to try to "overpower" her, that small woman would kick your ass and you would end up in prison. In the military, an order is an order. No matter who it is from as long as they out rank you.

Every other recruit got knocked down by the time our receiving DI's got through with their "greetings". Oh, and there never is/was a correct response to: "do you like me?" 😂. Not even a non-response(which I dumbly opted for). Good memories now but definitely not so then.

Daylight? I got there at 230 in the am, stood on the yellow footprints, marched into the reception hall then got my head shaved…….then was made to scream until I lost my voice on the first day……

I am a once upon a time USMC Staff Sergeant who stood on those yellow foot prints. Same for the DI’s in this video. It is a continuing wonder to me to consider the transformation that occurs after the shock of stumbling off that bus for everyone who earns the Eagle Globe and Anchor.

Gunnery Sargeant Hartman (R Lee Ermy) was a marine and drill instructor in real life back in the late 50s early 60s. So you know it was brutal for him.

Unfortunately, the new corps wouldn’t allow someone like Gunny Hartman to show up, it’s becoming too woke.

Not even 10% of the shock value as in the 70's. The recruits have the 'poolee' experience already.

Did you see that guy in the still photo? It appeared he just strolled off the bus almost granny style under no big hurry at all. My platoon spent 3 weeks in the receiving barracks! It was the most hurried place I ever saw!

Bullshit. First off they make it a point to bring the bus in at night, and no way in hell a BAM greets the bus. When my bus arrived a DI came on grabbed the first guy he could and threw him face first out on the pavement. Needless to say it was ass over tin cup getting off the bus. BAMs training recruits, yeah what can go wrong with that?
