1 and 2 are correct. 3... the wife, maybe co-owner, but definatley a lawful occupant of that address. The Police are there at the wife's request, and she is entitled to do that. She can invite any visitors she wants, while she still has that lawful occupant status. So the Police are there lawfully, until she leaves forever (in 5 minutes time once she collects her personal gear). 4) Actually the OWNER of the house got himself locked up for threatening police with a weapon (hand saw I think) and left the house before his wife and the POlice.... hahaha

I have a question. I am no cop, nor do I know the departments policies. I'm surprised the cops let this dude enter his house and shut his door. usually police don't allow people to enter their homes while dealing with police because the can grab a gun and start shooting. Like the poor officer in Colorado who was killed because he let a suspect inside his house without the cop present. dude grabbed a pistol and got the officer in the head. This is a different state with different rules and a different situation, it just seems unsafe to let this crazy nut bar into his house.
