Its Thanksgiving and it is once again time to play Norway and once again exodusing to the New World. Yes I know I said I would not exodus again but here we are lol. But yes Norway, the nation that made my KZbin career a thing, still to this day one of my favorite campaigns and not because we did well but because of how fun and iconic that campaign was.
Starting as Norway we went to the new world and formed the nation of Texas then the nation of the United States of America in a EU4 Multiplayer lobby. Can we last and stand the test of time? Or will we be overrun by colonizers and natives. Watch this video and find out!!!

@@AbsoluteHabibi Agreed. It removes a lot of the strategy and tactics that late game wars normally have, replacing it with throwing doomstacks at each other, hoping for lucky rolls, which is significantly less fun.

Regarding norse. You need an animist province in sccandinavia in the age of reformation. Rebels can teleport 200 distance so by taking one animist province from a country in south america and having colonized provinces following the 200 distance rule towards iceland, you will be able to get animist rebels in scandinavia quite early. The event "The awakening of the norse faith" requieres active animist rebels in scandinavia in the age of reformation to be able to become norse. With the previous strategy fullfilled, now you only gotta send an missionary to the animist province to make thosse rebels uprise again.

i think the way you would get animist rebels in ostergotland would be-- conquer an animist province, flip to animist, convert ostergotland to animist, flip back to catholic, and then convert ostergotland on 0 maintenance to spawn animist rebels, then let them rise up to get the event to fire, which would be annoying but definitely possible by age of reformation

Exodus Norway in single player is such fun. You take the whole of the Americas and that's about 5K development and NINE potential coal provinces. Then in the early 18th century you casually stroll into whatever your heart desires. Edit: In my Norway into USA campaign I was considering quitting around 1690. But then in 1698 I turned back into a monarchy, and with my childless 56-year-old King, I immediately got a 6/6/6 princess through the Ambitious and Talented Daughter event. I kept on playing.
