Eh it left out the real reason. It's true that simplified, it's because she's a girl... but if that were the only reason then Bart would not have been hazed. The real reason was that instead of finding Lisa a bedroom or something, the school gave her the entire dorm that the boys all had and instead moved the boys out to worse living conditions. And it is further fueled by the fact that SHE CHOSE TO BE THERE.
