What makes Vex good against dashes?

Her passive applies gloom onto opponents hit by her 3, or opponents that dash near her. An opponent that has gloom takes additional damage when they take damage from Vex, and the gloom is removed, recharging her passive. This applies each time Irelia dashes.

Yeah that Irelia was terrible lol. I've never lost against Vex cause when I'm against her I just play safe until I get BoRK and Mercs and then Vex can't even look in my general direction before she's dead. Plus Vex relies on getting early kills and snowballing

any half-decent Irelia player knows that there's two ways to play Irelia. against a champ with a weaker lv1-2 than you, you go for the lv1-2 all-in and force them to be passive early so you can scale. against any other champ you 100% wait for lv9 + 1st item before even thinking about pulling anything. Irelia is so good at farming under turret that you don't even need to be worried about being pushed in.
