The hottest thing Ive ever eaten is the Red Savina pepper its a hybrid Habanero. I dont know how to explain this, everyone loves the Reaper right now and for good reason. Its not a scoville thing either really. The Red Savina is so agressive and lasting that there needs to be another type of scale or something. Ive been telling people that for YEARS now, so Its always fun when I wake up with a random text message "Dude you were right about the Savina wtf?" lol. Similar peppers are just called Pretty Purples and they look like gumballs, I dunno what pepper family they are in tho. Theyre hot sure, but theyre violent about it. Its all very fun to experiment with. As a dare I would eat a whole raw Reaper for 5 dollars before I would eat a raw Red Savina for 50 dollars. So if you see Red Savina or Pretty Purples at a market or whatever, grab em even tho theyre kinda rare, they dont have a lot of demand lol. I used to grow them every year and make powders. Its not always about just heat, some peppers are really damn secretly mean about it. Ha! Great content on this channel, keep it up everyone! Cheers from Ohio
