The Matrix movie came out 25 years ago. Since it first premiered, it has been one of the most thought-provoking, symbolic works of cinematic art of the modern era. The scene with Morpheus and Neo in which they discuss taking the blue pill vs. the red pill is incredibly rich with symbolism.
