A 13% increase in size from 33 meters would be ~37 meters, not 250. The size increase in percentage is about a 650% increase (750 - 100, as a 100% size increase is 2x the size - but I digress.) You DID get a correct number with the 13%, but that figure represents the inverse relationship - the 33m blue whale would be 13% the size of the 250m shark.

So coming at this from a science perspective. If this thing grows in speed the more it eats then eventually it may be able to cross the galaxy instantaneously (relative to itself for an observer it would be millions of years) or it’s just perceiving things as being much quicker and it eating the earth actually took months if not years.
