you got the true ending! theres another one on this route that occurs if you hit no when prompted to continue fighting omori, and you can get an extra scene with basil if you water his plants. theres also an entire other route to the game if you dont go outside any day that kels asks you too or/and leave basil in his room, as well as you can use stab in any of the playthroughs you didnt get your knife confinscated

omg this video is so high quality and well made! ur really underrated! but i genuinely can't believe you did my boy Sunny dirty like that, naming him rat😭 and omg seeing the true ending again reminded me just how good the game is if you're looking for a good psychological horror game to play maybe try doki doki literature club. i think it's rlly genius how it's disguised as a dating sim when in reality there's all this crazy disturbing stuff and i think you'd have a great time analyzing a lot of the poems bcs as the game starts getting more serious the poems get so interesting and show a lot about the characters!

This was a really fun video! You got the true ending! I've seen others break down all the ways to get the other endings already so i'll only point out that if you refuse to open the door on any of the days to Kel and go back to sleep a whole other version of the game opens up called the hikikomori route but uh...do that only if you're in a good place xDD If you're after a game with a *lot* of endings, I highly recommend Slay the Princess!! Such an underrated game with fantastic art and sound design and a mystery that's super compelling, it's for sure in the top 3 games of all time for me.

The art style intrigues me more about the game-- I just don't know how to feel about the art, I don't want to say that I am in love with the art but I don't want to say I hate it either. There's just something comforting about it, it just kind of makes me feel, kind of at peace. Not that the main character (Sunny / Rat) is really eye-catching in visual terms, he's not bright or even colored well, shaded in per say but to me, he just looks like a bored, maybe sad, or just a guy with a neutral looking-expression. I think it was an excellent choice to keep (Sunny / Rat) kind of dark and not colored, as that's just the kind of things he's going through. ((Sorry I yap too much, I haven't played the game though! Seems kind of well fun, might check it out))

i think that works towards the game, as someone who loves it, the art on its own can feel mid but with all the story beats and tone it really works (obvs i recommend playing it, one of my fav games)

I get exactly what you mean by the style of the game. When I first tried playing back in 2020, it was one of the reasons I backed off this game. Once I just dived in and started to analyze I saw what the art direction Omocat was going for and it fits the game as a whole. I appreciate the yap trust me! I love a good comment.

I totally get what you mean. I had similar thoughts at first, but it makes sense when I really think about it because it is about depression, and when you are depressed, you never finish anything. You always leave stuff half-done and mid. The combination of story and tone really elevates the experience though. It's fantastic to hear that it's one of your favorites!
