12:08 you can't see the file structure because the disc is actually something called a GD-ROM, the audio you hear is on a small part of the disc that's like an audio CD instead of being the same as the rest of the disc, I don't know why they designed that part into the disc, but GD-ROMs were used to reduce piracy and allow for larger games, since GD-ROMs were only designed to be read by Sega Dreamcast and Sega Naomi, and can hold an entire gigabyte, as opposed to 700MB on a regular CD-ROM

One of the coolest things in a game I’ve found is in vib ribbon, you can put in any music cd and it will turn it into a level you can play through based on the music played

3D bluray (3D capable tv or projector required) is still quite popular overseas ,, and films are still released in that format , the recent release of Alita: Battle Angel as one example. most newer players support that format..

You should try MP3 disc's burned on a PC, and see If they play them, not many do. You need a pre 1990 player for them. Also. Regional disc's from different country's. Thanks for trying these.

When you said Foreign Disk I thought you meant a Foreign Region Blu-ray or 4K Blu-ray film , The Blu-Ray standard has "Regions" for different parts of the world there are 3 Region codes A B and C unless you have a modified "Region free" player , you can only play Bluray and DVD movies issued for your part of the world that would be Region "A" .. it will refuse to play a film from a foreign Region "B" or "C" there are some films released for that work in all 3 and they will list works in A.B.C. regions , Many Game consoles will also check the Region encoded into a release of Game software before they will run it as well..

Sony at some point did put on the market Blu-Ray players that supported PS3 games and controllers. I'm not sure if you need a PSN account. Ironically, I have one and i did try for fun few ps4 games but it did not reconigze any of those... sadly. Sony also made Bravia TVs with PS2 build-in consoles. *Sorry for my english, I'm from Canada (Quebec). :)

The disc drives of consoles are coded to read the inner ring of the disc where the hole is there is a code the laser reads before it loads any further if that is missing the game refuses to load what i see here is that philips possibly knew people like you would try this so they allowed their system to partially read the info which is why it was able to tell it was an xbox cd and not a blueray/dvd
