For GTA III, pay attention to the folder names. There was a folder named "movies" and a folder named "audio," yet you didn't look either of them when trying to find videos or music to be played...

GTA3 uses MPG files for the movies folder. it plays them. also the sims 1 and 2 discs plays clips and MP3s from its folders also. if you want to play a PS1 game in a blu ray player it has to be a game that uses Redbook audio or CDDA. same goes for Saturn, Sega CD, Turbo CD and dreamcast just to name a few. PC Games have JPGs, PNGs as well.

yes. but if they are folders in the open of the disc, majority of DVD players and Blu-Ray players have features where you can play a disc that takes anything Windows Media player other than DVDs and BDs can, however it can only be WAV, CDDA, MP3, MP4, MPG, WMV, WMA, AAC, Atrac, JPG, PNG or BMP. if its not any of these formats its not supported. this is featured on mostly Sony Models but other brands have it too.

Can you do it on a PC with Blu-ray optical disc? For me it does PS3 and PS4 discs readable. (Yep it does run PS3 games on RPCS3 emulator. But you need to decrypt PS3 games unless if you want to run on RPCS3 emulator.)
