Rabbi David found my wife and I wandering around the Old City one evening and invited us to dinner in his home on the balcony overlooking the Kotel. It was a wonderful experience. That was 30 years ago and he doesnt seem to have aged at all. His inner beauty has kept him young looking.

My only child, Peter Miller Lowenstein died this past September along with his girlfriend from a instantaneous overdose of Fentanyl. His mother overdosed on prescription drugs almost prior 5 years to the day. This speaks to Me. It calms me. It's the first I have heard that gives me a peace.

This video has peaked my interest in Judaism. It is a far more logical description of what happens to us when we die, than the roman Catholic religion in which I was raised [go to heaven and angels for eternaty). For a while I have secretly believed what the rabbi has described. Thank you for this and Salam 🇨🇮

People are so worried about the next world, they forget how to live, have friends, be honest, polite, productive ....be good neighbors , . I would rather make sure that my soul is taken good care now in this world, and let G-d do his work.

Beautiful teachings , very inspiring thoughts. drives human evolution. When a spirit or soul achieves human consciousness, it can never devolve to inhabit the body of a lower life form. These souls must incarnate as humans until they eventually learn the lessons of life required to become enlightened. No one may skip a grade or graduate until his or her life courses are complete.

Our minds have been purposely suppressed by our creator for the purpose of seeking! This is where we learn our capability in human form. God says, “If you seek me you shall find.” How will we be able to appreciate heaven if we’ve not experienced the depths of hell? How could we appreciate our relationship with God if we’ve not experienced the separation from God? In death we are reunited back to our true nature with our creator in which we are then set free. God gave the first humans that which they longed for... an experience with the flesh and the indulgence of it! Have you ever heard the phrase, “How do you like me now?” I could nearly hear our Heavenly Father thinking 🤔 this in the beginning of creation and then in our reconnection back to Him.

? What about the wicked? Do the wicked perish and be consumed, be DEAD? IS it equal for the righteous and wicked? Do both just continue on with the same soul, but without a body? Please answer, just please answer this most difficult question. Thank you.

@rkroger97253 жыл бұрын
Sounds like Eastern religions concept of soul/atman.Soul was never a concept in any Abrahamic religion, it is in Greek philosophy.Self in all desert religions of the Middle East is physical body which will resurrect when Messiah returns.
@rooster6133 жыл бұрын
Just as there are advances in science, so are there advances in theology. Quantum physics was always there, even though it was recently "discovered." Same with the soul, which is explained in kabbalah. Judaism is not fossilized into 3500 B.C.E thinking.

No, the BODY goes back to the earth. Adam's soul did not come from the body, it came from God's breath. In Hebrew, neshamah, soul, and neshimah, breath, have the same letters, the same root. This gets lost in English translation.
