Honestly, this season I have seen very few people scoop to PK instantly. Most people seem to have caught on that not everyone plays Rhongo turbo anymore, since DPE Scythe lock is now an option that's more consistent (though to be fair, you can just play both).

Like the decks I can think of which he plays that have a back and forth are Unchained and Plunder Patroll. Since his other dekcs have been Guru Pacifis Gemknight FTK Code Talkers with Iblee Lock and Salamangreat Field Spell to prevent it from destroying itself. He doesn't play interactive decks really.

When Maxx C gets negates by Ash and gets scooped, by the way nice free wins. Edit: So let me make this clear, You Nibiru the board, opponent activate Crossout Designators to negate Nibiru, you activate Crossout Designators as well to negate the opponent's Crossout Designators, then opponent activate Maxx C, and you activate Forbidden Droplet to discard Nibiru to avoid the Maxx C effect getting draw 2 cards. Am I to believe that the Nibiru did wiped out whole monster zone (except face down Ancient Cloak) and you scoop him real bad?

That is correct. Nibiru's effect goes through because it's already on the chain, but since it's no longer in hand, you cannot special summon it. Its effect is an "If you do" effect. X doesn't need Y to resolve, but Y needs X to resolve.

​@@ErosIRL The crazy part is that "just draw the out" literally doesn't even work on Rhongo. Not even a Kaiju works on it because of the special summoning restriction at 4+ materials. At this moment in time, I do not believe there is a single competitively-run card in the entire game that actually outs 4+ material Rhongo. You just need to set (specifically set is allowed under Rhongo) a monster for protection and hope whatever hand traps you still have are enough to stop them from OTKing you across the next TWO turns (and even once you're able to play the game again, you still have to find a way to out the damn thing on the third turn if you want to win). Once it is on the field, it is easily the single most broken Yugioh card Konami has ever printed. If you aren't running a stun deck like Eldlich or True Draco that can minimize the opponent's ability to summon other cards alongside Rhongo, you might as well scoop. The only reason Rhongo isn't as widely used as VFD or other toxic cards is because the enabler decks (pretty much just Phantom Knights and Six Samurai) that get you to Rhongo are relatively easy to cripple with hand traps, negates, or other forms of interruption. Still, the card needs to get hit. Its existence and that of other cards like it are just comically unhealthy for the game.

@@gamedominatorxennongdm7956 Ive played TCG for a long time, and with each new set the game gets more and more unplayable due to konami being unwilling to ban truly problematic cards, whilst introducing newer and more broken ones that slot right in with the older ones. Masterduel is just a small speck on the actual problem with this game that Konami is completely unwilling to address. I was around for Spyrals, monkeyboard and even saw the back end of dragon rulers before they got banned. I can honestly say that decks today make those decks look like a cheap bulk you’d get on an eBay bargain sale. One card can literally shut off an entire deck, and if you haven’t drawn removal you can’t play the game (harpies feather storm in flowandereeze, anti-spell, royal decree) games barely even last two turns at most, and when they do it’s literally just both players trying to out-floodgate the other or negating stuff. Handtraps are now played in higher numbers than the actual main engine itself half the time. We’ve just come from a format where the entire top cut was Verte, DPE, scythe, brave engine randomly splashed into every deck, you literally couldn’t even tell what deck people were actually playing. Yugioh isn’t a good game anymore, and it’s certainly not balanced on any platform including masterduel. I don’t like moaning about a game I love but it’s a struggle to find anything positive to say about it right now.

@@makeththeman9519 honestly, I couldn't agree more, like my deck in master duel is literally made up of engines, every relevant handtraps, and counter to those same handtraps, to turbo out 3 omni negates on my field at minimum, 4 if I'm lucky enough to get two BEWD on field to overlay into an number xys monsters, and a counter trap if I draw it for the occasional droplet. "Oh you don't want me to play the game to win huh?, guess I'll just go first and do the same to you instead." Is what the deck ended up becoming, and it's kinda sad.

I promise you this would not work. The only thing keeping me from playing my broken drytron or rhongo deck is getting to top rank and knowing I won’t rank down anymore, then I play spyrals or utopias. Scooping immediately saved us both some time. If this were a tournament I also wouldn’t hesitate. Every time I start feeling bad for the other player I’m reminded that most of you are playing other annoying decks and there’s no reason I should feel pity

Yo distant I know the feeling where your monster effect SHOULD be able to activate (your opponent doesn't have anything in hand, field, grave, and banish that stops it) and the game says "No you can't" seriously I had a Baronne de Fleur on the field and my opponent link climbed into Accesscode and activated BOTH effects and yet Baronne does nothing

Not just that but Danger decks, especially splashed with dark world, can sometimes take forever to set up their shitty board. I've played enough duels against them to realize that I don't want to sit there for 5 minutes while they draw half their deck.

man i still fucking remember the opponent insta scooped on me playing bird up, it was turn one i activated bird call, it was a bit of a brick and i misclicked thus send the turquoise warbler to GY instead of hand. I got to Plat 5 that way LOL

Cause noone wants to get barrier statuded thats also not destroyable by card effects. Also bird up XYZ monsters effects aren't once per turn which is aids so can set up F0 than have the "no you actually didn't summon this card thats a once per turn summon" bird up is one of the most annoy decks because of link bird going into statue.
