I think what helps Katelynn fit in is that she is easily the best rock crawler on that entire team, so as much as Matt would be willing to teach someone new having someone who can focus on learning the other things because they know as much or more about off-roading than Matt is quite helpful. Another thing that probably helps is as far as I know this is not the first KZbin channel Katelynn has appeared on in any meaningful way, and she definitely has a sense for what makes good content if that clip in the first or second video she appeared in as anything to go by

Pipe benders sometimes slip so bends end up inconsistent. We gave up on double ended candy canes for industrial guard rail and weld two singles with and extra 6" of "fudge factor" to adjust length upon assembly. Love the fab content, keep it coming and most of all keep enjoying it!

Yes Matt ,the lack of suitable hand grabs was obvious when you first sat in the passenger seat ,also I noticed hands outside the roll cage ,a habit that you may like to discourage with the team . But in all a good idea to have something that anyone can drive and learn in . Great surroundings with your playground .

The tangerine is a prime example of making the best of a shitty situation. A build like this is exactly why my crappy rusted out 93 S10 i had was one of my favorite vehicles ever and i feel like this will soon be one of youse guys favorites too. Its a vehicle you can just go have fun with. If you wreck you wreck it, no big deal, just fix it enough to run it again and keep going.

The Tangerine looks like a mini Hummer now, lol. I love it and think it's a great way to recycle the vehicle from the accident. Could be a great support vehicle now with the cage you could add attachments for jobs, etc. Can't wait to see the evolutions.

What a great team fun day out. When you fabricate grab handles, can you put in a vertical compression post, it will help with the harness attachment points, and help me breath when I'm watching the TANgerine. (Tan is the safari colour). You have a great skilled gopher working for you, a solid 6.5 will be an 8 before long. A gopher is very important in a team of the size MORR has become.

As one who has never done any off roading, except on a dirt bike, I commend you on your ability to build a vehicle that will conquer any terrain. My problem is that I don't understand WHY you would want to climb rock in a car. Congrats on a fun video showing what is possible. Thanks for sharing.

She really is a natural at that driving. I know she has had a lot of practice with buggy racing but it is extremely obvious she is comfortable in that drivers seat and she definitely knows what she is doing. Edit: I commented way to soon. Jamie has really fell into her offroad groove. Nice job out there. Rock racing is definitely in your blood now hahaha

Looks like you need a handlebar (looks like I commented to soon) for the passenger to hold on to, maybe some curved handles in the top, outside corners. One thing I learned is you can never have enough oh shite handles. Especially when you're on your side or your top. Interesting build though. some 1 tons and long tube suspension would really bring that thing alive.

Fantastic build and will be even better after the next round of modifications, perhaps a lift, or cut the front guards a bit more to clear those massive tires, and I'd suggest a proper harness to replace those stock seat belts up front, maybe some tubular foam on the roll cage too around the head region.

hey matt good start, how about an extendable sleeved boom on that to p/u side by sides and small jeeps. you could put in bucket seats and the boom could be mounted up there. a small winch in the back over deep v pulleys and voila.
