Even though I don’t understand what she was singing about but I cried. Fun Fact: at the end of her performance what was written in the background in Arabic was what one will say when they lose someone. (And that what made me cry tbh)

Basically the song is for her grandparents that had passed away. She is so close with her grandparents, she composed it based on what her grandparents go through, her grandma passed away due to cancer and not long after that her grandpa passed away also.

The song was in reference to her grandmother. Al fatihah in the last moment of the performance displayed is a prayer given to the deceased. She mentioned that she did not expect to breakdown during the perf but she was on the verge of meltdown as the song is so close to her but thankfully she managed to compose herself and continue to perform at the way she intended. And that brings about a whole new level; singing emotional song related to the singer, projecting the emotion to the audience, on the verge of breakdown moment that can affect the singing but she pull it thru to the end. Can see the half wet eyes in her and her holding it back as much as possible. Kudos 👏🏼

Means, whatever it is, whatever that we dont know, we dont listen or see by ourself. God knows. God knows everything. And this song is about her late Grandmother. Thats why you can see her dress, its inspired from the 80’s. And the last one, on the screen Al-Fatihah is a prayer that Muslim people read for a person who is passing/passed away. 🥰❤️ Good job guys!
