What household items you can use to sanitize for homebrewing?

The best way to ruin a good brew day is to not have any sanitizer on hand. But what can you do if you make it to that point? Well, we got some common household items you can use if you’re in a pinch.

Wouldn't the cap size depend on the size bottle?

Just go with 1 table spoon per gallon. And since table spoons and gallons are subjective to location... 15-20 ml of bleach per 4 litres of water.
