I couldn't make it to the beer fest on Saturday so I was really bummed out I didn't get to eat all the yummy food or meet you and John :/ Yours was one of the first vegan blogs that I started following. next time you're in Portland you have to try Obon. It's a vegan Japanese food cart, it pops up at farmers' markets mainly. They have a calendar :) I LOVED PORTLAND SO MUCH!!!

Depends on where you live... If you're in the Midwest like me, there are virtually no vegan stores or restaurants. Lauren highlights the best vegan cities which look nothing like the meat and potatoes area (unfortunately).

it depends on where you live be going public establishments like bars and restaurants began appearing all over the country because of the demand from the population. At one point believe it or not the United States was in the same boat a lot of the viewers on this channel are and where they live in areas where there is no demand for vegan products based on the population

I moved to Portland 4 years ago! best decision of my life! It's so easy and acceptable to be vegan here. If you've never been to the Blossoming Lotus you should stop there on your next visit. I feel it's probably the best vegan restaurant in Portland. keep on keeping on! you all are awesome!
