Hi Val, I also deleted Instagram quite a while back, I very occasionally have a look at a few people that I follow on YT. I have never been trend driven, I have distinct likes in clothing/footwear, and I seem to keep coming back to those loves. I also unsubscribed to a lot of YT as well. I follow very few fashion creators now, and you all have one thing in common, conscious shoppers, three of whom you mentioned as people you watch too. I really like the way you styled your Converse hitops with that length of Jean. Sometimes, they can look a little clownish to my eye. I have a pair of white Converse, but they are a low-cut mesh like material which is excellent for our extremely hot spring/summers in Australia. Love your videos. Val, you practice what you talk about, and I really value and admire you for that. Thank you, as always 💙💛

It’s so good to see you again! You definitely look more tan 😎 glowing and beautiful! I hope you all had a fantastic vacation! I have been rather surprised at our weather here in the northwest this season. Very little room for temperature adoption, that’s for sure! I am expecting my third baby, surprise! Not planned, but we are excited, and I am working on accepting my changing body once again. It’s been very interesting for my wardrobe. As I expand, I am making use of some oversized pieces and creating a type of capsule maternity wardrobe. I’m actually finding that “men’s”jeans are absolutely perfect for maternity! I found some Levi 550 and 560s a size and two up that are very comfortable and accommodating. I think these styles are pretty unisex. I also managed to find a pair of vintage, rigid cotton, maternity jeans that just have a stretchy waist band! Those were a real neat find. I had to archive a great deal of my summer clothing since it won’t fit me right now or look too flattering with a growing bump, but it’s been exciting to get creative and find my maternity style. I am finding non maternity clothing in accommodating styles and bigger sizes because I just can’t handle the lack of style in maternity clothes 🙈 I’m hoping some of these pieces can also carry me through postpartum and give me confidence through what has been a more vulnerable time when I believed it to be this time. Your garden is absolutely lovely and looks so beautiful! Looks like you’re doing a fabulous job. We have also been doing a lot more gardening for food and beauty, and enjoying it very much!

I think the reason I buy more is because my style is shifting. I've outgrown a lot of the style of my clothes and even how they fit (even if they fit, I like a baggier look sometimes now). In addition to your channel, I also enjoy Emily Wheatley and Christina Mychas. I think she pronounces her last name "me-HASS." I may have the emphasis backward, but she pronounces the "ch" part like an "h" sound. And she is Ukranian! I also love watching A Small Wardrobe (Patricia), Justine Leconte, Jenny Mustard, Use Less, and Jessica Harumi. Some of them have more upscale taste than I can afford, but their styles overlap with mine at least to some degree, and there are other things I enjoy about their videos.
