Yeah racial tension is something I became aware of when I moved to the UK and its crazy. I imagine in the US its super charged. In Zimbabwe that doesn't exist. Everyone is just laid back and chilled

I think most of us can definitely relate to everything you shared. American politics is so polarised and toxic. Yeah I love Mexican food as well. I am a foodie and have been exposed to lots of interesting cuisines like seafood, shrimps, good fish etc the list is endless. For the things you miss I see opportunities for you to start your little business if you have the time. When I eventually return home I am hoping to start a high end Tea and Coffee joint with delicious coffee and hot chocolate and cakes. Who knows when my dreams come true you can come and sample some of my world cuisine. Zimbabwe definitely needs more variety of world foods. Really enjoyed this video as I could relate.

Thank you for the video, what you do miss could be some business opportunities to explore for Zim and help make life better for everyone.

It makes no economic sense to have central heating in Zim for pretty much 2 months of the year (June or July) just as much as it makes no sense to have winter tyres in UK which is cold but not as cold as Scandinavia. Air conditioning...same thing. Zim is mild compared to the liked of Nigeria. Tiles are there for that reason, to cool the houses.

About making friends most local people maybe a bit shy thinking what they have in common with someone from a country like the US- it can be a bit of a challenge considering how different the countries are, but with time they will get used . If you attend church you may meet more local people

I watched videos from Christie- Lee and Ijeoma Kola, they are based in Kenya. They too are expats and mentioned that it's hard to make friends. It seems normal, I guess. Be kind with yourself in due time you'll be flourishing in that department 😁. Thanks for sharing your video 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Enjoyed this video and it's very relatable. I'm a Zimbabwean living in diaspora for almost 20years and really agree with you on Zimbabwe and limited food/grocery options and all the privileges of online shopping and the currency struggles. I hope that this changes soon and Zimbabwe will catch up with the world.

I really enjoyed the video. What i miss the most about Zimbabwe is being able to drive however i want and not worry about the police. Recently i got a speeding ticket and i had to attend a speed awareness course and that really sucks!!! I was doing 34 miles per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone 😥😞. My bad I know, but it still sucks.

Truthfully, Zimbabwe is safe as long as you don't criticize ZANU PF in public. You can try try and a do that in your heart but if they can suspect you hooo hoo, trouble in paradise

Even if you criticise them they don't care. You only get into trouble if your criticism is detrimental to their hold on power or if they think you're a nuisance.

The rule is dont criticize or do anything that will challenge Zanu Pfs hold onto power publicly or privately. Make money, leave them alone and live in peace! Their secret service is highly efficient. Enjoy Zim!
