Basically you have to understand what computer engineering is all about so I am going to explain you a bit it has 2 major part software and hardware .the software part consists of programming and Data structures and secondly the hardware part in which we study Electrical courses I.e Electric Circuit Analysis, Electronic devices and circuits, Signal And system Dsp ,e.tc I'f you have confusion just cheak the course catalogue of computer engineering and see the names of subject you are going to study in it if they seem intresting to you go for it hope you understand me if you have any other question you can ask thanks Stay Happy 🖤

Hey Sara, love your content. I'm a Computer Engineering major myself, I'll be graduating in 1.5yrs Your job sounds exactly like the type of job I'd want to be doing after graduation. What would you recommend I start doing to become qualified for a role similar to yours?
@TheSn124 жыл бұрын
I’d suggest getting an internship that involves this kind of work. You can also do some side projects/watch tutorials about different software tools and programs to learn and grow. Anything you can to gain experience in this field, the better chance you’ll have of getting this type of job. Thank you for watching and I’m glad you found the videos helpful!

Could you please make a video about some projects you did to get an internship. I am majoring in Computer Engineering, so I was wondering what projects I can do outside of class for my resume. Thank you a lot!! I think it will be interesting for all of us.

I'm a CE graduate (B.Eng). Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to get internships while in school. Do you know people in CE who landed a role without landing an internship and what roles did they get?
@TheSn123 жыл бұрын
Hi, unfortunately I didn’t know anyone who didn’t get an internship while in school. However, I didn’t know a lot of people to begin with in school (only 2-3) so there could have very easily been someone who didn’t do an internship and still got a job. From my experience and what I know, I think you’ll do okay in finding a job as an engineer. Since you have a B.S. and not a higher degree (I.e. masters or PhD) the employer most likely won’t expect a high level of experience or expertise. You’ll just need to make sure you’re applying to a place that either a) doesn’t expect you to have an internship or b) the competition/candidates have not taken any internships as an undergrad either. This way, you’ll be able to improve your chances of getting the position. In terms of the pay, I don’t think you will be getting as much than someone who had an internship during school because of the experience aspect of the position (as well as the exposure to being in the work place). So to summarize, I think you’ll be okay in finding a position without an internship but your staring pay may not be as much as someone who did have an internship. The good part is if the company allows it you can always get a promotion increase your pay overtime. Honestly, getting any sort of engineering degree is a great (& very profitable) decision. I hope this helps :)

Hey, was just wondering do you have any advice on what one could do in order to get good at mathematics? I am eventually trying to pursue a career in engineering but Math and Physics are a big obstacle for me right now.

Practice. Not quitting and being determined to solve a problem even if it gets frustrating. I had a circuits HW I took 12 hours on because I kept getting wrong answers. By the end of it I solved all the problems because I chose not to quit. Just don't quit bro

@TheSn124 жыл бұрын
Jemuel Amporinguez 1) Don’t give up 2) suck it up 3) Always ask questions 4) look online for answers first 5) Read the chapters the exams are going to cover 6) Do problems that don’t understand over and over again until you do 7) This is just a temporary inconvenience

can you work in the IT field if you major in Computer Engineering?
@TheSn123 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. In fact, if you decide to work in IT then I’m sure you’ll be fine with an associates degree. From what I remember, IT doesn’t require that much of an education in order to do that kind of work. So if you want to get an IT position then I’d suggest going for an associates degree. You don’t/won’t have to spend as much time or money in college and you’ll be able to have an income that much sooner.
