My house has been a hotbed of entities and spirits so I said forget it, charged myself in the full moon and did a massive banishing/protection/renewal ritual. I'm exhausted but I feel soooooo much better

I'm the opposite! Every full moon, I'm up much longer than normal, even if I was sleeping fine the night before. I think it's because I'm a werewolf otherkin, what with the whole idea that werewolves transform and are fully active on the full moon.

Just because planets and moons can effect the water in you doesn't mean anything spiritual or "witchy" or..anything, other than the fact that planets and moons and whatnot effect the fluids within us, and the tides, water, etc., on a _physical_ level. That's it, the end, goodnight. p.s. God is real and he's very pissed off at you. For believing in the "moon" more than him, after he's given you so much. I mean, after he's given you _everything._

Full moon is my fav cycle. My coven comes. Tonight for Nov we will have a simple harvest meal. Making butternut squash soup and scones, a harvest salad. And a pear custard pie with crumb topping.we will craft gratitude leaves and hang on a faux Birch tree. We will have extra words to whisper to the wind as a late hurricane is coming our way due to hit Thursday. The funny thing about bringing up the topic of full moon themes (like the Hunter Moon, the Harvest Moon, etc.) in November is that November's full moon is known as the Beaver Moon. Which honestly just makes me chuckle a little after the more epic sounding Hunter Moon. But really, the idea is very practical: it symbolizes preparation for the coming winter.

Possible things to do as Practice/ Ritual during Moons that ( might) make you feel sleepy: 1. Find ways for it to " recharge ( like a battery) or restore ( depleted ) Lunar Based Energies / things that need Lunar Power" 2. Do/ Practice Activities that have a LUNAR connection ( ie. DreamWorks or Astral Travel) 3.practice " witchy self-care" to restore personal energy ( ie. Take a bath and have a glass of wine/ cup of tea) 4 Just SLEEP! Because it's the Natural Cycles telling you what YOU need to Do for YOURSelF ( the moons and "their phases" will still be there and sometimes they last more than 1 day)

The full moon is more a replenishing stocks kind of time for me. I do a deeper check in and cleanse with my tarot cards, usually do a big read (tarot cards + throwing stones) for the up coming month's theme, check all my amulets and spell jars, recharge them, dispose of the ones that broke (I have some that can grow mold or the glass breaks if they absorb enough negative energies) and make new ones in their place, make more moon water if I'm running low, check the herb situation, and make the month's batch of black salt out of the previous month's ashes (if I have any).

Its so interesting how unique the craft is for each individual - this is what i do on the opposite side of the cycle. On the new moon, I renew my protective candle, wards, bottles and sigils and kind of reset my space for the next cycle. I also do a tarot reading and sometimes cast runes for the coming month. If I have energy on the full moon, I might charge some crystals or water. But I find the full moon is like reaching the top of a hill, and once you get there, you just chill and enjoy the view before heading back downhill to restart the cycle.

I have moved to working within the full cycle of the moon. Most of my heavy work starts on the New moon and goes throughout the cycle. I deal more in transformative magic which means longer spells and using all the phases. The full moon for me is more of a transition period not so much a heavy spell day like many others. I think it's really personal for everyone how they view each moon phase and how they use their magic in each. Good video.

~the most notable and regular thing I do related to the moon cycles is cut my hair. I trim my split ends continually through the waxing phase, to promote growth, but then I trim my bangs on the waining cycle to discourage growth (so I don't have to cut them as often). I cleanse and recharge//reprogram my crystals on the new moon, and try to make moon//sun//crystal water. I did see the full moon last night before bed so I stood out on my deck and basked in the light//talked to her for a few minutes.

Wasn't there a full eclipse last night? I was cold and tired last night. We did have to put a fire on though.
