So I wanted pass something along that I do now when putting nails into my books that has become incredibly useful since I started- I actually mount the nails to a clear slide before mounting in book! Then it’s super easy to take a whole hand out at a time, all together and not dropping/losing individuals. Super easy to pop back in after serving whatever their purpose was at the time, mounting directly to the book page, adhered with the same red double sided strips that you’re already using!😊 Love the vlog!❤

Thank you so much for inspiring me to start my own press on business. I have been thinking about it for many months but when you said in one of your videos that you can't really know it all in the beginning and to just start and learn along the way, that gave me the push that I needed. Now I have been winging it for over a month and so far, so good. A few hiccups along the way but it's part of the process. I am really thankful I found your channel.

I follow you because I feel like we are a lot alike. Your idea with swatching the colors for the resin was genius. Your process was satisfying. It may be OCD, but I was wondering if you'd thought about how you put the new package of glue on top of the old ones. No shade at all, just again I feel like we are alike, and I definitely would have lol. I love your videos and I also sell press on nails.

Hi, question! i know gel nails are not particularly safe for ppl under 16, but would the sitution would be different it is was gel PRESS ON nails? Are they as damaging?
@shirochan59362 ай бұрын
no, and it all really depends on execution. youre not gonna destroy your nails with gel if you get it done and taken off correctly, same as if you use poor glue for press ons and rip it off instead of soaking it off youll damage your nails
@jiminiechubbycheeksj62962 ай бұрын
My go to as someone who doesn't have a nail drill and wants to keep the nails intact while taking them off is peel off base coat! You just peel it or soak it in warm water when it starts lifting and it doesn't damage your nails at all- mine are actually growing out beautifully this way ( I do press ons and gel x btw )
@catpride13232 ай бұрын
Professional Nail Artist and Educator here. Most of the time the damage is done by fools and not the tools. Fools with tools !! As for your age, our concern is your body going through puberty and the chemical change that's happening. It will actually happen many times in your life - pregnancy and menopause just to name two more. The press on's are tips being applied by glue, that generally is damage free, but as I say that, somewhere, someone is filing some girls nail down to the quick...lol If your doing it yourself you can use things like peel off base coat to help protect your nails, but it's not a necessity. Proper prep and application leave no damage. Proper removal will leave no damage. I hope that helps, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.. 🙂
@yksxphieАй бұрын
Gel nails are safe for most ages and ppl under 16 as long as you apply it and take it off correctly same as gel press on nails, as long as you apply and take it off correctly it wouldn’t damage you nails.
@catpride1323Ай бұрын
@@yksxphie Again, it's not just about the type of product used, the female body is going through a lot of changes at that time of development. Sometimes the chemicals used in artificial nail application just don't mix well with what the body is producing and their can be an adverse effect. That effect can be very damaging and permanent, and there's nothing modern science can do to fix it. We say 16, because most girls go through puberty around 12 - 14, and it can take a year before your body settles down, so we say 16, to be really safe. But if my client is 16 and had just got her monthly cycle a few months ago... I would want her to wait longer, her body hasn't adjusted yet, it is still in the process of the change. The fact that I am using gel, acrylic, poly gel, doesn't matter. It's still a chemical process. Using press on nail tips, glued on with glue... Should be perfectly fine, as long as done correctly. Please do not go around telling people just because it's "Gel" its perfectly fine for people under 16, because it's not true. Before you hand out such advice, get a certified Nail Technician License. 🙂

If you are in the US they can be found at Home Goods for about $35-$40 depending on the size. In Canada you can find them at Home Sense. I'm not sure how much it costs there. I hope this helps.
