I have the gladiator Rubicon diesel and I actually towed a trailer with the car in the back and and I was doing 19 miles to the gallon and normally without towing I get about 25 to 26 miles to the gallon depending how I drive it so I recommend the diesel for anybody that wants a truck with good gas mileage

Sounds like you're not happy with too many things about your Gladiator Willys...maybe a different model Gladiator would have been better. Or, maybe not even a Gladiator at all. I have none of those complaints about my Gladiator Rubicon (V6 gas, did NOT want diesel) -- it's pretty much what I wanted right out of the box, as-is from the factory. Will be keeping it stock (no lift, larger tires, etc, things most people do). Yeah there are a few minor things I'd prefer, but nothing worth mentioning or doing a video about. It's fun to drive every time I get in it and anywhere I'm going -- off-road, around town, or a long trip on the Interstate. :-) No complaints here...except the MPG numbers but I knew that right up front, as a "serious" 4x4 vehicle (lifted/large tires, no front air dam) just doesn't get great MPG -- none of them do. But I get very decent MPG on the freeway, and City MPG has gone up a bit at ~2600 miles on the odometer presently). And with the Gladiator (and Wrangler), we can add their "antiquated design" to the mix: A mostly vertical box on wheels -- not very aerodynamic for sure. But that's fine with me, because for MY needs I can't think of a BETTER choice than my Gladiator Rubicon (especially here in Colorado), even though in this MID-size truck segment, there are HARDLY ANY choices for a serious 4x4 on-road/off-road truck! For me, there were ONLY two: The Gladiator and Chevy Colorado ZR2. And no, I didn't want a FULL-size truck (Raptor, Power Wagon, TRX, etc.) or else I would have gotten one. ;-) As for Gladiators trim-level & performance-wise, there were ONLY TWO I considered (worth) getting: Rubicon and Mojave. Were I still living in West Texas desert area (ELP) I'd likely have gotten the Mojave. But up here in Colorado, the Rubicon is more "appropriate." ;-) I usually say "Happy Gladiator-ing" to other Gladiator owners...but from your "depressing" video, I don't think you really enjoy yours (so I won't). -- BR

That's all good and well but keep in mind where he lives. A paperclip would nearly be enough between Houston and Dallas. If the radio doesn't tune the station well it's probably because it's desensitized due to the overwhelming megawatt transmitters major metros all have. A worse antenna actually could help in that case. That said, no clue how close he lives to either metro but judging by that clearing in the trees behind a concrete wall, what looked like either a regional/international airport or a budding new subdivision not yet built, I'd say not that far.

The Willys trim was not available in 2020. It’s a 2021 package. With the Willys package , you can only get a Tow Package, not a Max Tow Package. I’d recommend checking your Monroney Label and if you don’t see 4.10 gears, that there’s no way you have Max Tow.
