Hi Karen, I cant wait to see the Bob Marly movie this week. Hope u enjoyed ur event!. I am considering this surgery and want to know at yr two, have u seen improvement in hair loss. I remember u mentioned it early on. I'm very concerned about losing my hair. Idk if its a temporary issue or a long term struggle. I already struggle with this from Anemia. Thank u in advance!

Hey ! You’re gonna love to movie ❤️💛💚 as for hair loss I honestly didn’t experience much hair loss! I had some thinning on my edges early on and then it stopped once I started eating a more balanced diet. My hair is actually fuller and longer than it was pre surgery.

Oh I know that was fun going to see the movie. I have tried the G Hughes and I am really not a fan. I have just mixed the barbecue sauce. I also wanted to try the kind bar post vsg. Liked them before.

I’m so scared of carbs. Like terrified. I am so afraid to eat them that I have 3 boxes of oatmeal (which I love!) that I’m scared to eat in my cabinet. I’m only 4 months PO so maybe I’ll get better about carbs down the line.

That’s understandable but we do need carbs as part of a balanced diet. In the beginning I do think carbs should be limited but you should still make sure some of your meals have some carbs just to keep you healthy 💕

You can gain the weight back if you don’t use the tool as a way to fix your relationship with food and fitness. The surgery is just a tool to restrict the amount of food you can eat in one sitting but you have to be disciplined to keep the weight off just like with any weight loss journey. Prior to surgery I was 283lbs.

..hmm, just read some of the comments below and I see Many are or have had a weight loss procedure, so I guess I can just eat all day, get Large ( wt. wise) as I wanna….🤔🤷🏾

Most ( not all ) of my subscribers have had the surgery because of underlying health issues that make traditional weight loss difficult. Many of us were not just eating all day to get large, we were actively trying to lose weight prior to surgery and because of underlying conditions ( like PCOS and hyperthyroidism) were unsuccessful. The surgery is just a tool to help your body lose weight but the surgery does not ensure success if you are not dedicated to the process.
