Thank you for not apologizing for the $80 bag of groceries from Whole Paycheck and for explaining the labor of pine nuts. It's validating.

11:30 Roast those Brussels sprouts (35min @ 425 with a drizzle of oil & balsamic) or air fry ( 15 to 20 @ 400 with a spray oil). The best tasting Brussels sprouts look burn on the exterior. They are also difficult to process raw as you pointed out 11:26 .
@hdubby45332 жыл бұрын
I 2nd this!! Air fried brussel sprouts are amazing and go great in salads...so yummy🤤 Edited to add: you can also do frozen brussel sprouts in the air fryer. They're typically much more affordable and they're absolutely delicious.

That pasta looked amazing!!! I'm a mom of 2 boys and our favorite dinner is pasta. We just throw together whatever we have in the fridge and serve it with some bread and everyone is happy!!!

Your skin is always great, but in this video in particular it looks amazing!! Also, loved the salad! I'm running out of ideas for salads, so I get tired of eating them, but love them so much that I get frustrated with myself.

Matcha obsessed as well!!! I sometimes blend almond milk and matcha in a blender so I don't have to heat it up! Also when doing it the "ceremonial" way I was taught to be sure to never stir it in circles but left and right and up and down.

I'm sure someone else has commented this but: It's called Ceremonial matcha because matcha is used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Traditionally the matcha is consumed at a much thicker consistency than how we drink it . It's a very cool experience! The more you know (rainbow shooting star)

If you are in a space to enjoy Whole Foods the next level up is Farmers Market. From there the cheat code is joining a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). On Monday we got some great Dinosaur Kale (aka Lacinato, Tuscan & Palm Tree kale). Here in NYC we are getting into Pumpkin, (orange, purple & white) Cauliflower, (green & purple) Brussels Sprouts, & (purple & green) Broccoli, Fingerling, sweet & Purple Potato season until March. Always appreciate the time you share Joslyn!

Please tell me you have at least 2 if not 3 snacks in the day. That is not enough food or drink with you being so active, Yes it looked balanced (except needing more fluid) and yes you take your extra vitamins, yes there was alot of good minerals and nutrients. But girl there was not enough calories. Im not into calorie counting but you need more food. Im not skinny or fat shaming. But you said it was what you eat in a day?
@MissJoslynDavis2 жыл бұрын
I’m not a calorie counter at all! I just eat what I want when I’m hungry. Weirdly these meals plus the snack kept me full 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ some days I’m more hunger so I eat more! Also this salad was deceptively very hearty, more so than a burger for sure, as weird as that seems!
@samstevens78882 жыл бұрын
@@MissJoslynDavis Not weird at all. I eat big salads to normally for lunch. I leave veg as my breakfast and dinner. Im glad you eat till full alot of people dont, they get so hung up on what others say they should be doing. Without getting any real advice from a proper nutritionist or a doctor then wonder why they arnt losing weight or their weight has plateau for a long time. Most of them arnt eating enough but have upped exercise. I get worried about people sometimes and Ive been watching you for years since the early days of Clevver and dont want you hurting yourself. Although since watching you you dont seem to follow all the diet fads. If any of this makes sense lol
