I find adding some water to the baking pan when making stuffed peppers helps get the peppers tender without overcooking. Since you’re covering with foil, it creates a bit of steam while cooking.

@@freeleeTheBananaGirl you’re welcome. Vegetable broth would be good too.
@emilybh62556 ай бұрын
@@freeleeTheBananaGirl Or better yet. just put a tray of water in the bottom of the oven to create steam. I would avoid Aluminum foil. Perhaps the pan of water would create enough humidity so you could cook them without the foil or any covering. But for covering veggies while cooking, can't you use Banana leaves or wet corn husks? Or why not just steam them and not try to bake them. It is far more healthful to so that. Less acrylamides are formed when you boil or steam vs bake, grill. broil, fry.

Dear Freelee, Thank you for your content about the Raw till 4 diet. You saved me! I started as a raw vegan. I starved myself on the fully raw vegan diet, I went back to my old diet for two weeks and then I finally found you. Your diet healed me, but unfortunately, I tried to be fully raw many times and starved myself over and over again. I'm never going anywhere else except Raw till 4 from now. That is the only diet that gave me health, look, and everything else I was looking for. Only your recommendations can keep people fruit-based and nourished in terms of calories. I felt it on my skin. I experienced that. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I think you are a live proof of Raw till 4. Keep spreading this message! God bless you!

Her book is called Raw till 4 - I think thats how she eats - raw meals for breakfast and lunch and cooked for dinner. She is vegan and promotes benefits of raw food - but she does eat some cooked food. Being 100% raw is extremely difficult long term, hard to eat enough calories without including some cooked veg and grains.

Ha ha. Now my diet is more advanced than yours. I quit rice, corn and soy. You're eating white rice too. Not good. Now I only eat millet, quinoa, amaranth, wild rice as my grains. And I knew you'd not last on all raw and all fruit. Are you eating cooked beans? You could also do with raising some chickens for eggs... and save the shells for calcium. Some wild fish or oysters might also help you get thicker/stronger.
