Not sure whether anyone else has suggested this- sorry if its a repeat but I find it really helpful to meal prep 1-2 times per week. It makes eating healthy a lot easier particularly when I dont have a lot of time or I am absolutely starving and can't wait the 30+ mins to cook something. The weeks I dont do it I very much notice a difference in my food choices.

Lauren, I'm not sure what your group therapy is for, but that's so great of you to show it on your videos. You're such an inspiration. I also had an eating disorder binge eating & purging. I spent a lot of time trying so hard, making it so far then just sabotage myself and gain it all back and then some. Finally I heard about EMDR therapy and I had it done ONCE it took about 2 hours but a year later I'm still on track and haven't even had the urge to binge. I'd strongly recommend it but either way you're kicking ass!

Dry brushing before shower and then using oil after shower on my skin helps it with recovery when losing weight. It really did wonders on my stomach and inner thighs. Lately my favorite meal is pasta with a bit of goat cheese melted as a sauce and pesto then added to it just before I take it off the stove. I serve the pasta on a HUGE bed of grated carrots and for some reason that hits all the spots.

healthy thought tips!: 1.if you were raised never to waste food so you constantly over eat to clean your whole plate think of this "your body is not a trash can". Meaning, if the leftover food would be going in the trash if not in your mouth...then by putting it in your mouth your basically treating your body like a trashcan. 2. "don't put food in your mouth when there's food in your mouth". If you're having trouble slowing down and mindfully eating just practice not putting more food in your mouth while you're still chewing your last bite. :)

I just started watching you so I will end up commenting on some older vlogs, sorry. I just have to say that you have changed my outlook completely! I know you get these kind of comments a lot but thank you so much for sharing your life and journey. I have been struggling with reaching that perfect number and size for ten years. So focused on that that often I would completely isolate myself because I was afraid to be judged. Last year I got to a really healthy weight and fitness by running and eating clean and I was so happy and then life happened (injured knee, husband had a horrible accident) and I gained it all back in 6 months. I was so depressed and disappointed in myself that I went into isolation again. I have been trying to juice fast to lose weight quickly but keep falling off and feeling a failure. Then I came across your videos. You are beautiful and funny and energetic and happy! You celebrate every victory and you are enjoying the JOURNEY. That's what I was missing. My focus has changed and now I am going to try and embrace who I am now and love this body first. Then I can make good food choices and get working out again and enjoy each day instead of only focusing on the goal. Thank you Lauren I think you just gave me my life back.

Good morning. My name is Nicole and I have started my weight loss journey back in October, but really kicked it up a notch and got serious in January. I came across your channel and literally stayed up all night watching your journey. I could not stop watching. It was like hanging out with your bestie and just laughing...corny I know, but hey. I lived in England for a little while and made it my adopted home, but when my hubby lost his job we moved here to the states. Well, long story a bit shorter, we have not been back to visit or anything and I miss it terribly. So when I started this journey, my goal was to lose the weight and as a reward...fly back to England to visit my family in NW London and my friends in Coventry and Cornwall, and not need a seatbelt extension. I had the "surgery" and lost 140+ pounds and gained back most of it when I lost a child. This time I am doing it properly so I can get smaller and maintain this time. You must hear all the time that your videos are real, but it is so true...I laugh with you, I cry with you and you inspired me to create my own channel. I don't know how to edit so I don't so it is a bit rubbish but it helps me with accountability. Anyway...I am writing, well babbling to ask WHEN I reach my goal, would it be possible to met you and thank you in person? You have been such a tremendous inspiration and I share your videos and what I learn from them with my friends and family that are on their own journeys. If that is a bit too weird...I understand but I thought I would just ask, also...I want to meet your mum too, she is so amazing the way she supports and joins you. It is so sweet watching you together. Okay...so there it is, they say you never know unless you ask, so I did. Life hack: dice kale leaves finely, combine with spirulina and wheat grass. Gently pour the mixture into a glass, then spread the mixture liberally over the lawn or garden. It might at least make for decent fertilizer, but for goodness sake don't eat it. (Feel free to replace wheat grass with ginger root.) Congrats on those 14 pounds and HOORAY TENACIOUS D!!!!!!!!!!

love you Lauren!! and yes I know what you are saying about the freedom you get...I finally get and understand that!! I have been just doing it, going through the motions, going through the consistency of my clean diet, exercise etc. Have not seen the scale move yet but my body is changing in shape that is visible. I have been consistent for just one month so far but I am finally understanding that the weight will come off eventually. I feel right now, at this time, I am loosing fat and gaining muscle which is why my scale is not changing....Wish I could join you in one of your classes!! Love the classes you are taking and you have inspired me to go to some at my gym, to change things up a bit...Just want to say thank you...I love my wobbly bits!! It just says the fat is coming off and not coming back!!

I drink a mug of fresh ginger tea with lime each time when my cravings start to trigger me to binge. The spicy/bitter taste really blows my cravings away and this tea helps to protect against colds. It is so nice to watch your videos💕👍🍀you're amazing!

I'm not even neccesarily trying to lose weight - I have Coeliac disease and IBS so sometimes food is a struggle, but you just motivate me to do everything, anything - cook, exercise, study, whatever. To make life easier (eating healthy easier) I just found some very tasty very healthy dishes, like salad made from arugula and any other salads, with sun dried tomatoes, a bit of green grapes, blue cheese, and dressing (olive oil, a little bit of honey, sesame oil, balsamic vinegar and mustard) you can sprinkle it with some nuts. It is amazing. Also for my breakfast I now have avalado with tomato on toast. And for dinner salmon with asparagus and broccoli. And it's working for me so far, cause my meals are filling, and light on calories.

My healthy tip: I found it hard drinking my water, I just wasn't into it. So we have a soda stream machine, I carbonate the water and just add slices of lemon and lime. Now my water is bubbly and I love it. I finish my water now, and actually look forward to getting a glass.
