The University was formerly the famous Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute. This School served as the brain child of Dr Nkrumah in his Pan African ideology formation. There were citizens of many African countries who passed that school. We should credit Dr. Nkrumah for establishing the University. I was 15 years old when Nkrumah was toppled and the his beautiful head bust statue standing in front of the College was brought down. I vividly saw the sadness that face portrayed before the demolition. Any wonder Ghana had been going through a lots of mediocre developmental stages since then.

Greetings from the US dear Brother! Outstanding work! You have definitely won me over as a new subscriber. 💪🏾♥️ Would love to see you cover more of how the landscape looks along the coastal parts of Winneba. What are the locals doing in terms of business, residential and other opportunities close to the oceanfront?

why did they depend on European sailors to name the land what WAS IT CALLED BY THE VILLAGE PEOPLE BEFORE THAT?? My god!!! even the names of our homes in Africa were dictated by the colonizers 🚫

If you were attentive you would have heard it in the beginning. The local name which is called by people in the town and surroundings is called Simpa. Just like Cape-Coast is called Oguaa (Ogu33), Elmina - Edina, Saltpond - Akyemfo, etc

@@ujpb just because I didn’t hear it doesn’t mean I wasn’t attentive! But thank you anyway for your response
