These cults are so cruel, they spiritually abuse and exploit people without conscience. Glad you are free.

There's a member who often caters us at the cafe... He has the most beautiful energy. If I could scoop him up I would. I often wonder if the people within the community want to be there or not. Investing in something so life changing would be so hard to leave - and if you were born in the tribe...it would be close to impossible. Just like leaving any abusive or familial situation would be. I hope he is treated right and treats the women and children of the tribe right.

I learned that suggestion while committed to a psychiatric institution in my teens and was locked in and couldn't get out so I was so stressed I just lost myself and resigned to standing in lines for pills ,lines for food. I mean we had to stand in line for them to get our vital signs. Every hour at night the nurse would shine a bright 🌞 flashlight in my eyes to see if I was sleeping but that would wake me up. I wasn't a fun place and I had to get a lawyer to get out.

Yes. So many groups have some degree of control. Greater society is full of it too. Be gentle on yourself and give yourself time. Being willing to heal/forgive/trust are good things, you can always get to a place of being willing for whatever feels scary. Good luck! All the best to you ☺️

Hi Jilly, thanks for this video ---- close friends of mine joined over 20 yrs ago and then my wife went in (all of them are still in) --- and for a while I was in touch with ex-members who tell a similar story to yours --- it seems like nothing changes with this group --- it is a disfunctional family --- the leadership being the most disfunctional. The people inside become emotionally co-dependent making it very hard to leave plus not having resources to start again on the outside, as you mentioned --- then when you leave, there is the time of unwinding psychologically from all the stuff they taught you. You might do video on all their crazy beliefs and practices. Like using only one or two pieces of toilet paper. Yoneq was big on that for awhile. It sounds like you are coming out the other side. Thanks for warning others.

Totally codependent. They put on a pretty good face, but once you're in there there's a lot going on! There are definitely so many practices they demand, very few with understanding besides "our Father's will". Good 💡 idea. Glad to be out, good luck amigo!

"If I give up all my possessions to feed the poor......but have not love (God), it profits me nothing." If God has one's entire heart, He has all of him or her. He calls His people to be good stewards of all that He has entrusted to them, which includes their own personal bodies. Not understanding this from the Scriptures leaves one an easy target for groups that think that to surrender all is mostly external, but God looks on one's heart.

Thanks for sharing in such an honest and vulnerable way. You don't talk much about a personal faith in Christ. Is that something that you ever felt that you had? To me, this is the most important thing. This is not a criticism of you, but you seem to speak of God in an impersonal way and knowing and loving Jesus is so much more than that. In fact, it may have been Him who called you out and He waits for you. Thanks and blessings.

Your videos have been so interesting . You seem like you have no fear now . I would love to know how you got from there to here. This isn't the same but my husband died and I feel like I don't know how to do any real life skills. It's constant panic still and it's been 3 years. I really like how you express yourself . I honestly never really minded letting him be the one to make desicions etc . I'm kind of a laid back go with the flow type anyway. I really do believe in personal energy I just feel paused I guess . Like my whole existence was waiting for him to come home. But there's so much more for me. I know . Sorry if this all doesn't make sense . But I think that would be a great video of maybe getting stronger mentally

Hi Jilly. I frequently visit 12 tribes here in BC Canada. I know a lot of what you talk about. Out of curiosity, what was your Hebrew name there? What were your children’s names, and did you change them after leaving? Did you take your old name back? Been wondering this from watching your videos

I had a few names in Hebrew! First Qoshet Parahat, then Elah, then Talitha Kumi, and now? I am Jillian, always have been. Kinda a funny thing to change names in the middle of your life that someone else picks out for ya! And makes it hard to find people who have left!

@@heathereileenoquin That's not even a reason why I left. Children are being "groomed". There is child molestation going on in that cult. Right in the main base. 2 perverts are hiding there. They cleared the name of one of the sickos in court. As I was watching clips of defectors last night the thing that disturbed me the most was their way of disciplining and over working Children , I do believe in discipline yet it seemed over the top to spank 6 month year olds & using rods , someone left some of the founders quotes on discipline & they were down right evil , one said you must draw blood in a certain scenario.
