I had the same problem with Chai teabags, turns out Chai teabags are meant to taste like that. You arent meant to add milk, just water. What you need is Chai latte powder. Most supermarkets do one called Drink me Chai. And the flavour you want is spiced chai latte, then you can make this with either water (as it already has powdered milk in it) or with milk, you can even mix with extra coffee to make it stronger. Hope this helps :) Also I know Chai means tea in hindi however I'm talking about a Teabag. You wouldn't say I'm buying Chai bags, you would say I'm buying Chai teabags. xoxo

Traditional chai is boiled milk allll day long with tonnes of sugar and spices. It’s so heavy to drink a cup due to the milk so you get full fast!

Barista here! Don’t get chai tea bags, you need chai latte powder. Put chai latte powder in hot milk and you’re essentially sorted, if you want to make it more proper barista style ‘froth’ the milk with the powder!

There is a chai tea powder from holland and barret mix with like 3 small teaspoons of mixed to a paste with hot water and then add frothed milk to it. I'm a barista and its my favourite chai EVERR!!!

You local chai latte guru hereeeee😘😘😘 When making your chai latte brew the teabag in enough hot water to cover the bag. leave the bag in there until it’s super strong. Thennnn stem your milk and pour it over your strong chai mixture xx Alsooooo you should tryyy adding a little honey and sprinkling cinnamon on top

Chai latte: chai tea bag, put some hot water in the bottom (little less than an espresso shot) and brew the chai in the water for a minute or 2. Then add the steamed milk, steam it like a latte (less froth!) :))

Worked in a tea store for six years! Use a lot less water and a lot more tea. You wanna basically make a chai concentrate to then pour into your hot milk so that it doesnt get watered down by the milk. You can try steeping it on the stove with milk, but its a pain in the ass to filter and you cant control the temp of the milk as easily meaning you can burn the tea which sounds like boujee tea talk and like you wouldnt notice but burnt tea literally tastes like poison. Just use two tea bags instead of one and a quarter of the water, steep for eight minutes w boiling water and then add the milk xoxoxo enjoy

For the chai latte, you’ll be better off with a chai latte powder (rather than the tea bags) sooo with the powder u add a bit of boiling/hot water just to make it into a syrup kinda thing, then add the milk 😋😋❤️❤️
