I am not a minimalist by any means and am 100% a you do you when it comes to a Christmas so this is not a negative toward you in any way but I have to ask, are those prices all correct? We got all the Disney princesses just like that for between $5-8 on Amazon, and many other things for half the price listed here so I’m just curious. Again spend a million dollars if you want, I’m here for it, just confused about some of the pricing.

​@ashleyfletcher7136 It kinda does when she goes to school and during circle time she goes I got this and this and this and this and this and can go on a 15 min rant about them and in contrast some other little kid whos parents aren't so well off got a few thrifted things or things from the dollar store (I was raised poorish and my brother remembers lying to other children about what he got cause he didn't feel cool) it's fine to buy your kids stuff but it does also feed into overconsumption and if you telling kids all these presents are from Santa then they go to school and it gives others children a complex about how they aren't good enough cause Santa didn't bring them that much stuff... Honestly as a kid who grew up less well off I took great offense when she pulled out a calendar and said it was a "gag gift" cause when I was 9 I got like 10 things for Christmas and my My little pony calendar was so cool.

@@unicorncatsarah1094 Thats not her fault. People can shop all year long. That's what I did when My kids were little there are always toys on sale. Parents never have money for Christmas but never go with out beer cigarettes and expensive coffee. My kids always had 30 or more gifts because Even though we had very little money I bought things all year people act like they are surprised when Christmas hits you had all yr.
