Santa put the first Woodsword book in my sons stocking 2 years ago and he read through the whole thing in 1 sitting. That blew my mind because he was 6 1/2 and has severe ADHD, and those books are full on chapter books with a few illustrations here and there. He got a few more for Easter and the rest of the series for his birthday that summer. He loves them still and has branched out to longer bigger books.

You can buy your kids whatever you want to! Minecraft is amazing for 6-7 year old boys. My older sons played it starting around that age and they still play it at 16 and nearly 15!!! love the magnetic blocks. LEGOs are the best! My sons also still play with those as teens, believe it or not! Those bath bombs are so cute.
