I was doing a sight reading program along with Bob books with my 5 year old and realized I needed to switch to phonics based program because my kid was relying too much on sight words and not wanting to sound out unfamiliar words. 100 easy lessons was a fail for us. The typography was confusing and the page way too busy. The Reading lesson looks like it might be a great fit for us!

I got my son the Ninja Turtles Uno.

Santa put the first Woodsword book in my sons stocking 2 years ago and he read through the whole thing in 1 sitting. That blew my mind because he was 6 1/2 and has severe ADHD, and those books are full on chapter books with a few illustrations here and there. He got a few more for Easter and the rest of the series for his birthday that summer. He loves them still and has branched out to longer bigger books.
